Aha, so Matt is taking a page out of Liam's book for bland, everyday beginning scenarios for his players. That was one of the most hilarious things I've seen, I was cackling all night.

Slaughter at the end of the fight: "You've been served, good sir. Now please, leave our respectable establishment."

Don't worry about the corpse in the shed guys. It's the Elder Scrolls universe. Even if a guard finds it they'll just exclaim "I'll find whoever did this" and walk away after staring for 1.5 seconds.

Honestly this group should have a sitcom, the intro was so funny. Set up perfectly for it. Who knows what wacky events will happen at their Tavern!

I'm surprised "The List" didn't also make the list since everything else did. This combination of players is absolute gold, btw. If this got turned into a full campaign, I'd watch every damn second of it.

Not only did Sam get the kill and Laura didn't believe it. He actually saved her life too which is the more impressive part. Also Michelle was super good. Clearly a very experienced player who was on top of her shit. Was really nice to see.

And what else can a person do then giving their best to keep their still unnamed tavern going. Everyone fakes it 'till they make it.

SPOILER... love how with critical role, Sam is consistently either an absolute beast in combat with plans and a strategy (Vehcna fight) or a walking talking dumpster fire with terrible rolls (see video above) there is no in between with him.

if this were actually part of the Elder Scrolls universe when the elf picked up the wine bottle that he didn't own in the bar, everyone in the building would have immediately pulled out their weapons and/or spells and attacked him relentlessly. immersion broken.
