This episode made me realize how organized and in control Marisha was hosting the first episode 😂 Def not complaining tho, this one is also super fun!

You know, as chaotic as Sam was as a host, he brings up a very good point for the last section. Much of the audience may not be as interested once they start playing a game instead of answering questions. I think sticking to 2 player games might be a great idea, allowing 2 to play while the other 2 continue asking their own questions.

Bell's Hells is what happens when you take characters that belong in a Darrington Brigade one-shot and put them into a full-length campaign

Sam was high key right about keeping people engaged in the second half. He really did an amazing job in his own silly way. Loved the questions but LOVED the chaos.

I recognized the exact moment from campaign 2 when Matt looked so sad during Taliesin's monochromatic rant here. It is from when Liam described Caleb teleporting his book of letters into the earth between the graves of his parents. This shit is powerful, and sticks with you.

I love Taleisin's ultimatum and wish it was more expressed in-game. Punk shines brighter in bad situations and Matt terminally plays kind and respectful people unless they're a clear villain to be opposed.

I now want to see Laudna learn to cast Phantom Steed and summon a horse with a purple mane/tail for Imogen!

I could honestly listen to taliesin talk xmen for hours, I’m glad he thinks bells hells have xmen vibes I’ve always thought vox machina had avengers vibes with their legendary heroes vibe and mighty nein had guardians of the galaxy vibes with their folk hero vibe, and bells hells are so colourful and eclectic they give xmen

I thought the best bit, was at the end of Taliesin black & white bit, he couldn’t get the door to open! 😂 And Sam comes along at the end of the episode and opens the door with no problem! The look on Taliesin face was priceless! 😂 fun little show!

I'm assuming Laura's actual tankard wasn't ready because when this episode was recorded, Ashley was originally set to appear, but then she tested positive for Covid so she had to sit this one out like she did for episode 21. And before someone say she was in the Red Nose Day special last week, 1) I know, and 2) episode 21 and this episode of 4-Sided Dived were probably recorded the same week, but the Red Nose Day special was likely recorded much later to give time for the fundraiser campaign to run its course.

I liked that Sam wanted to keep asking questions during the video game. I know Dani doesn't like it but it's soooo much better than trying to have awkward convos about the game theyre playing and fill up space. The video game segment seems odd as a whole so adding that def kept it topical and made me wanna stay. It was a little difficult to hear at times but I think they should keep doing that and theyll get the hang of it eventually! They barely ask any questions as it is - they hardly even use the tight sticky tower of inquiry! That should be the main draw!

"Big Moon Little Moon" is one of the Most romantic things I have ever heard, I cried when Orym talked about it in the show. 😭

I'm new to critical role after watching Vox Machina on Amazon. I jumped into C3 as my start point to the TTRPG portion. I knew I didn't like Ashton much but I didn't realize how separate he was from Tal, now watching this I realize how cool Tal is and how great a job he's doing playing Ashton ♥

As much as I loved this I think "less is more" would apply to this show. I would be perfectly happy to replace all the awkward intros and video games with more conversation between the players.
