For anyone wondering how to make it for a 0-2 months baby, then just change this pattern a little bit. I am making one pair for my 2 months old brother. For the foundation chain instead of chaining 15, chain 9. Follow the same way he does row 1 but when the instruction says make 11 dc, you make 5 dc only and then for the rest of the round part follow him exactly. In row 3 he does a set of (5sc,3hdc,3dc) but as you have only 5 posts compared to his 11, you will follow the order set of (3sc,1hdc.1dc) For the rest of it follow just as he does, finish the row 3 and slip stitch to end the sole. And voila you have a small sole. I'll make my soles and then get on with the straps, I'll update it here. Update: Where he has marked the spaces on his sole, I have changed that for my size. Instead of 8 on the front round I've marked 10 stitches, for the 6 on the sides I did 4, and I left 4 instead of the side 8s. the back of his shoe has 22 stitches but mine has 18. When making the strap make sure that it's width is equal enough to be sewn in the 4 stitches on the side that you left. Round 3 is ch3, 2dc in 1 st 3x. I followed the CC above and wrote it in the nb so I can just do it without watching the video but it turned out different so i had to watch it again and take note of how the pattern was done instead lol.
