Cocoon Cardigan/Shrug Base Measure (Approximate):
For Small/Medium Size: Wide -100cm,
Long - 80cm.
For Large/ Extra Large Size: Wide - 110cm,
Long - 90cm.
Note: The above measure are approximate and not accurate. It is highly recommended to measure the sizes as per your requirements.

Hi, As per advice I did start with 189chains, used Aran yarn and 5mm hook. To get Large size (as per advised measurement) I used 2x 200g balls to have just base, another yarn needed for sleeves and border

Hi.. always remember, the measurements are approximate because the yarn varies. So even you are using the exact yarn n hook size but different brand the size will might varies..

Thank you for this video. I plan on trying to make this. How many yards total in the DK weight yarn? I don't believe we have that yarn here. The pattern looks amazing!

Hi. The measurements are perfect for an adult medium size. I’m sorry I won’t be able to give you an exact gauge measurements as the shrug has already been gifted to someone. If you are using a chunky yarn with 5.5 mm hook, your shrug will be slightly bigger because here, I’ve used medium size 4 yarn with slightly bigger hook size.
