I think I figured it out. Here's my version of the written pattern: (If you need a visual then watch video as you read. Heads up this is not an absolute beginner pattern.) Row 1 (Same as video) Color A (green💚) Magic ring, ch 5, (counts as DC + ch 3-ish) DC into ring, ch 3, DC into ring, ch 3, DC into ring. 3 DC and 1 ch 5 that counts as a DC in total, so basically 4 dcs. Slip st into 3rd chain, chain 1. Row 2 (Same as video) Making leaves~ 1 SC, 4 DC, 1 SC into the ch space. 1 SC, 4 DC, 1 SC into the next chain space. Repeat 2 more times. Sl st into 1st SC of 1st leaf. Row 3 (Same as video) Adding second row to clover leaves~ Sc into same st. 1 DC next st, 2 DC into next st, 2 DC into next, 1 DC 1 SC. 1 SC, 1 DC, 2 DC, 2 DC, 1 DC, 1 SC. Repeat 2 more times on all leaves. Sl st into 1st sc Here we diverge😅 here's what I did: Adding a third row to the clover leaves~ Sc, 1 DC, 1 DC, 2 dc increase, 2 DC increase, 1 DC, 1 DC, SC. Total to 10 sts. Repeat in all leaves (3 more times). Note that this is slightly different from her subtitles, but I think this is what she did. Last round: in last SC, change to color B (white🤍), ch 1. Row 5 Squaring~ Watching video helps for long DC placement Long DC in initial 3rd chain of 1st ch 8 of row 1, ch 1, long DC same place. Ch 3, Skip 5 sts, 2 SC in 6th St. (Should be middle-ish of clover leaf. Going into 5th st is also acceptable.) Ch 3, long DC in DC of row 1 (again watch video for placement if confused. You are going into the first dcs you made into the magic ring of row 1.) Ch 3, Skip 5 sts, 2 SC in 6th St. Repeat around. Last round: SLip st into 1st ch of color B. Row 6 Squaring part 2~ Slightly different from her instructions. Refer to 16:37 in video to see the finished row. It will look like that. also It's important to do all the chain 1's in the instructions below. They are tedious but they keep your work from curling and make it square up nicely. Ch 2, counts as 1st DC. Ch 1, dC in next long DC. In ch 3 space of previous round, work Ch 1, 1 DC, ch 1, 1 DC, ch 1. Fist corner: in the 2 SCs (SC increase) in the middle of leaf, work 2 DC increase into 1st SC. Ch 2, 2 DC increase into 2nd sc, Ch 1. Into ch 3 space of previous round, 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 DC., 1 ch. 1 DC into first long DC, ch 1, 1 DC into 2nd long DC. continue around. at the end of the round, slip st into 1st DC. Row 7 Sc around into DC and ch 1 spaces of previous round. For corners, sc 1, ch 2, SC 1 in ch 2 space of corner. Finish off. I added a green slip st border to polish it off. It looks really nice. this was so hard to follow. i got about. 3/4 of the way through and was lost by that point. would’ve been much easier to follow had you been vocally talking us through
