I really like this version of herringbone - it doesn’t involve the back bar! It looks clean. I can’t wait to try it for a hat. The other version is thicker and has it’s uses, but your version is great for hats, gloves and sweaters 👍🏻. New subbie and can’t wait to see more 👩🏻💻💕

Beautiful design I will be going to get some yarn and that will be my first project❤. Thank you so much for making it easier than others I’m just a beginner. But I know I can do this one and it won’t drive me crazy like some others designs do. and this is the kicker it’s the same design they make it so hard thanks A million. I will be following you.Till then hooks up😂,🧶🪢🧵🪡🧣🧤👗😉❤️✨💯🥰🧶☝🏼✨♾️

Wow I had no idea you could do actual herringbone with crochet [insert shocked emoji]. I've tried herringbone in knitting but it's really annoying to do.

It looks different from others. The ones I know of you make two double crochet stitches and you go back to the previous stitch as if you were to single crochet. Keep the two loops on the hook. Then you almost double crochet to the next stitch (not current one). You have four loops. You then pull through all four loops as if you were to half double crochet. I’ve made quite a few table mats, pot holders and coasters with bulky yarn (weight 5 or 6). Yours looks very different.

@@vovocrochet I learned from a KZfaqr crocheter. She has a KZfaq channel here and also sells patterns on Ravelry. Hers is very easy to understand. I made several beautiful pot holders and coasters with her pattern. I couldn’t follow yours, sorry, a bit hard to see exactly what you’re doing and where you’re stitching.
