Another idea- maybe do a book cover WITH the book! Like if someone asks for hunger games (using as an example) make it so it's big enough for that book specifically and maybe match the crocheted cover to the book cover!

Good idea for a book cover: a Bible cover! If you have a Christian friend, especially one who gets lots of use out of their Bible, this could be really great!

I'm sure there is a pattern for fingerless gloves that switch between fingerless and mittens.

Um... Correct me if I'm wrong but that strawberry pillow? I saw a similar pattern a few years ago and thought of doing it in Strawberry Shortcake ( the doll) colors (various greens for the background) for 40ish year old relatives because they loved Strawberry Shortcake as kids... What do you think? Accent pieces for 45 year olds in their reading nooks so they can reminisce about their childhood?
