How to Crochet a Cord for Beginners - video tutorial.
For crochet beginner's, it will introduce the weave of simple basic: a chain ring, double crochet, slip and puff stitches.
A Puff stitch.
To crochet a puff stitch, you half-close several stitches worked in the same stitch and then join them together to finish the stitch.

Thank you for the pattern! I made one change because the both sides were not symmetrical: So instead of making a kind of slip stich in the middle of the two puff stiches (before beginning the new pair of puff stiches), I make chain 1, turn the work and then make 2 slip stiches until I reach kind of the middle of the chain 2 (that connects the two puff stiches). Then I continue with chain 3, right puff stich etc. So the both puff stiches are more symmetrical. I hope I could explain it so that everybody understands... 😊

That's a good idea! I will try that myself when I try this pattern. (FYI, even though the content creator called this a puff stitch cord, those aren't puff stitches.)

They are DC3TOG, Double crochet, 3 together.

tbh doesn’t really look like 3 dc together, because then they’d be three SEPARATE double crochets, whereas here there’s only two main stitches, yknow what I mean?
