Thank you so much!! Its warm but breathable! If you add sleeves, makes it warmer. If you wear as a cover up, it’ll be cool enough!

When alternating rows, does the first chain 2 count as the first double crochet in the increase?

No! Chain two and double crochet into that first loop

For the back panel do we still go forward 5 chains

Yes! Make 5 chains to start the initial loop. But theres no need to make increased stitches on the back panel!

Definitely!! Someone else who recreated this dress also used half double or single to make the loops tighter!

How did you make the loop for step 3? I attempted to make this already and i think im messing up this step.

Hey so i made about 5/6 extra chains longer than the amount needed to cover my bust and then counted back those 5/6 chains and crocheted back into the amount that can cover my bust. Idk if that makes sense but basically i made it a littleee bit longer than what i needed for coverage and then created a loop from those extra chains! You can completely customize it to fit you (or whats easier for you)

At the beginning when you say less than half, how many inches should less than half be?? I need to know so that I don’t start and immediately frog it😅

That part can be as short or long as you want! Its the starter rows before you increase. So if you want a super halter look, super short to be able to have a big increased look - if you dont want it to look halter, make it longer so you dont have to increase as much! On mine for example it starts at 10 inches and i increased to 15 inches!

Nope not if you dont want to! Depending on how much of your back you’d like exposed is how long the back panel should be!

I wore pasties and skin tone underwear! I suggest wearing a bathing suit underneath, skin tone shape-wear, or tighter stitches such as single crochet to make the dress less revealing!
