I'm so confused! I'm not a beginner but for some reason my count isn't adding up because when I get to the fins, they're not on the sides? However I'm following this exactly and my count is exact! Please help😔

SAME! My fins are so crooked LOL I’m gonna try to adjust. Maybe it’s my counting? The tension in the yarn? I’m not sure 😭

I dont think its the counting, idk! I've started over 12 times, I use stitch markers and count every single round!! I have no idea what the problem is😂

Wow! Such a cute stingray. And the color is so beautiful - sea blue is one of my favorite colors. I love sea animals and the marine theme very much. I myself recently crocheted an amigurumi lifebuoy :) And I also wanted to ask: how big is the stingray? How many inches (or centimeters) in length? In general, thanks for the tutorial, I will wait for the second part :)

Yeah...No this tutorial is not easy at all, and I have been crocheting for five some years now, and these stiches do not add up. She does NOT tell you where they go. Would not recommend this tutorial..

Been crocheting for 4-5 years now and cannot figure out how we've jumped from 25 to 47 sc in one round via adding 2 ch6 no increases then next round states 2sc Inc x2 but we've only gone up to 49sc..

Hi! Ch 6 with 5 SC back along chain = 11 new stitches. We do this twice in the round, so 22 stitches in total more this round :) The next round only has 2 increases, so brings it up to 49 SC. Hope this helps!

wish this was better for beginners. its really discouraging to come to the comments and see all these people who successfully did it (two of them being literal 12 year olds) and i couldn't even get three minutes in without wanting to give up. even watching it in 0.25 speed didn't help. i wish she would stop and show us the overall progress and tell us what part is going to end up as what, ex) this is the left wing, this is the head.
