You are talking about crab stitch with the Bunny Lovey, also called reverse single crochet. There is an easier way to make them. Simply turn your hook as shown in the KZfaq video by Change Path Crochet (and others)

I am new at crochet and only watch those who give honest feedback about patterns, what they change, etc. I don't think it's bashing the pattern since everyone likes different things. Besides, as a knitter we are supposed to alter sweater patterns to fit us better so why not give crocheters that same freedom in their creation? Thank you for your videos! 100% agree. I see people talk about patterns all the time & now that I am more experienced I can sometimes spot the edits they made in the pattern but notice they don't say anything about it. I think they don't want to be seen as mean but honestly that really can hurt other crocheters if you buy the pattern and get discouraged that you can't replicate what you see someone else say they did based on the pattern.

Suggestion for the MamaMadeMini's book: take it to a copy store and have them cut off the spine and replace with a spiral binding. It makes it so much easier to just have the book open to the page you are using.

For the double crochet legs with light stuffing, you could make a fabric pouch with stuffing in it and tie it off (like a sock with stuffing) and put it in the legs so thw stuffing doesnt pop out!

I’ve been addicted to ShopModThread’s Della Ducky lovey…. I’m on my 3rd since I bought it 3 days ago! Only bad thing is I’m an adult with no kids and no one I know is preg … but… I guess they’re all mine 😂😂😂 **actually… the real bad thing is I now need/want more velvet/blanket/chenille yarn and it’s so expensive in NZ unless I get it from the cheap import shop which doesn’t have many colours and it’s random if/when they have some 😝 Guess I should just use up my large acrylic stash and brush the yarn 😂

Hi I really enjoy your reviews. You are really good at the details of how hard or simple a pattern is. Keep up doing what your doing. I also have a question. Do you ever have safety eyes that are really thick and don't look good in your amigurumi animals? I bought some that are very good quality and love the colors but they are really thick. *** could you perhaps pantyhose/bag the stuffing in the feet of the Maven pattern so the stuffing doesn’t fall out? Also, I use scrap acrylic yarn for my magic ring with chunky/velvet yarns … makes it so much easier to close and you can’t see it, but doesn’t catch or rip the yarn which is the frustration with magic ring and those yarns

I just stumbled across your KZfaq channel. I love your reviews on the patterns! I am wondering if you can help me. I’m a decent crocheter and just started making plushies. I’m searching for an easy lion lovey pattern. I bought the Mama Made Mini Lion Lovey pattern. Like you, I like the magic ring method and she used a chain method. I tried my best, but had a lot of trouble mostly when changing colors and the mane. Hers is so beautiful but mine looks like it belongs on n the island of misfit toys. Do you have any recommendations for a lion plushie that is easy to make and works up fast? I want to make 7 or 8 of them by October.

Do you yarn under while making animaguri? It will give the materual a tighter weave. Also with DC try to tighten your tension.

I am CraftinginTx on Ravelry and I designed a bunny like your small fox lovey. I don't think my pattern is fiddly. The tail helps the bunny sit up. The pattern, Hoppy the bunny, is on Love Crafts too.
