I had a little trouble with the written pattern sometimes, this is where everything in the pattern starts. 1:46 starting chains 2:47 Row 1 3:38 Row 2-6 8:05 Row 7 13:23 Row 8 repeat 20:50 Row 9 repeat 24:40 Decrease row 1 26:50 Decrease row 2 28:00 Decrease row 3 30:40 Decrease row 4 34:10 Decrease row 5 35:15 Decrease row 6

Thank you So much for your time stamps, as I’ve rewound, and rewound, and rewound row 8-9….almost every day for a week now and I can’t for the life of me see where she transitions from row 8 to 9. I tried to trust the process, but she always did a slip stitch at the end of each row, until here ( at least I can’t see it) . I’m so sad that I finally ripped it all out. Maybe in a few months I’ll try again😢. It’s nice to have all this support though ❤

Feel your pain, between the time stamps, rewind and overthinking I cracked it but the hat is too small to fit me or anyone in my house. Going through the comments to see who sized up and what worked.

I’ve only ever crocheted one item before, some puff stitch gloves like 2 years ago, and decided to start with this because of how simple you made it sound. Started yesterday and about halfway done with it... should have used a size smaller needle but definitely an easy super beginner friendly follow along! And yes, I jumped right ahead into a project without knowing any terms or anything, figuring I’d learn as I go, and you are making that so simple! Thank you!

I just finished this beanie last night. It was a gift for my mom and she loved it! I’ve never crocheted a beanie so it was a bit out of my comfort zone and challenging at times, but I’m glad I stuck it out. My yarn was a little thicker so I had to tweak things a little but it turned out great. Thank you for the beautiful pattern and the video, it helped me a lot!

I just have to say this is hands down the most beautiful, detailed, and delicate beanie I’ve ever made. The pattern while a bit hard at first is very easy to follow. The sequence is hard to deduce based on the placement of the braids. The rising chain hides seamlessly within the work up. The top of the beanie also looks beautiful and not messy at all. Hands down a beautiful beanie that although it does take more time when compared with a basic beanie is 100% worth the work. Love it 🧡🧡

Thanks a bunch.. I just finished making this hat and I love it. Followed both the videos and written pattern. Felt like both are needed. I did 2 less rows of ribbing. Did it in the same pink color..it fits me perfectly. :)

I have Never made a Cable Beanie before. My Brain takes a little longer to remember a pattern. I was afraid of it, but when I saw your Tutorial on this Beautiful one I wanted to try. So I watched your Tutorial several times first. I got my Yarn and needle and began to make the hat. I was actually fine until I got to row 9. 😧 I couldn't move any further. So I tore it down and started again and on the 4th time it finally clicked in my brain!🤣😭 "I screamed, I Got It"! So now I can really see the Cables forming in the hat and it so Pretty! I Love it! Thank you for sharing your Awesome Designs and making a great tutorial.

Just finished. OK its not the easiest but once you go back a few times in the video on the first row you are then just repeating for the next rows and the end result is well worth it. Great to have the written pattern as well to help you read patterns, thanks.

Getting the hang of this, love the pattern. I think the only thing stopping this from being a beginner friendly video is how fast you do every stitch 💀 I watch it in half speed and it isn't as hard. Once you can see how to do the rows, theres just a lot of repeating. Thank you for the video :)
