Hello friends,
In today's video you are going to learn about a very easy to make, Top down gorgeous sweater for 4-5 yrs toddlers. I have made this sweater in great details. I will not say that it is a beginner level video but i hope that i have explained it in so much details that a beginner can also try it out.

Size :- 4-5 yrs Approx.
Crochet Hook :- 4mm
Yarn :- take 1 main color ( Off-white / White / Black ) and many other bright color yarns for bubble row.
Measument: Cheast : 13 inches.
Finished length : 18.5 inches.
Instructions:
Foundation chain: Take main color and make Ch 72 + 3.
Row 1: (Main color yarn) Skip 3 chs, Insert hook in 4th ch from hook and make 1 dc. So the 3 chs we skiped is the 1st DC and we made 1 dc just now. So 2 dc till now. Then put hook in nxt ch and make 1 dc till we have total 12 dc. ( including ch3 as 1 dc.)
Then ch 1, Put a SM in the ch1 gap and make DC in nxt ch. Till 13 dc, Ch 1, put SM, 23 dc, ch1, put SM, 13 dc, ch 1, put SM, 12 dc. Cut yarn. Fasten off. [Total 73 dc in row 1.]
Row 2: POP Bubble row: Join new yarn (i used green yarn). 1sc,1 sc, 1tr, 1sc, 1tr, 1sc, 1tr, 1sc, 1tr, 1sc, 1tr, 1sc, ( 5 tr so 5 puff bubble sts will be created till this point) then we reach ch1 gap, so do ch3. This ch 3 will be just on top of this ch1 gap. put SM on every ch3 of this row.
then 1sc, 1 tr, 1sc, 1tr,... 1sc till we reach the next ch1 gap. ( 6 puff bubble sts are created here) then again on ch1 gap do ch3, 1sc on nxt st, 1tr, 1sc, 1tr,......1 sc till we reach next ch1 gap... ( 11 puff bubble sts are created here) then again on ch1 gap do ch3, 1sc on nxt st, 1tr, 1sc, 1tr,......1 sc till we reach next ch1 gap... ( 6 puff bubble sts are created here) then again on ch1 gap do ch3. this is the last ch1 gap. so after that do 1sc, 1tr, 1sc, 1tr, 1sc, 1tr, 1sc,1tr, 1sc, 1tr, 1sc, 1sc. (5 puff bubble sts are created here). Cut yarn. Fasten off. Bubbles in this row : 5, 6, 11, 6, 5.
[ Note : In pop bubble rows the first two and last two sts will be sc. ]
Row 3: dc row: Join new yarn (Main color yarn): ch3, 1dc in nxt st, 1dc in each st, ... till the ch3 gap, make 2dc,ch2, 2dc all in that ch3 gap. Again 1dc in each st,... till the ch3 gap, make 2dc,ch2, 2dc all in that ch3 gap. Again 1dc in each st,....repeat this till end. Cut yarn. Fasten off. [Total 89dc in row 3.]
Row 4: repeat row 2 with any color yarn. Bubbles : 6, 8, 13, 8, 6.
Row 5: repeat row 3 [Total 105dc]
Row 6: repeat row 2 Bubbles : 7, 10, 15, 10, 7.
Row 7: repeat row 3 [Total 121 dc]
Row 8: repeat row 2 Bubbles: 8,12,17,12,8.
Row 9: repeat row 3 [Total 137 dc]
Row 10: repeat row 2 Bubbles: 9,14,19,14,9.
Row 11: repeat row 3 [Total 153 dc]
Row 12: repeat row 2 Bubbles : 10,16, 21, 16, 10.
Row 13: repeat row 3 [Total 169 dc]
Row 14: repeat row 2 Bubbles: 11, 18,23,18 ,11.
Row 15: repeat row 3 [Total 185 dc]
Row 16: repeat row 2 Bubbles in this row : 12 , 20, 25, 20, 12.
Row 17: repeat row 3 [Total 201 dc]
Then cut the yarn, fold the work into a front open yoke. measure the cheast. Mine is 13 inch chest ( boby circumference 26 inch ) it will be ok for 4-5 yr toddlers.
[ Note:- If you want to make the sweater for any other sizes then increase or decrease the number of rows accordingly. Fold the sweater as shown and check the measurement of the chest according to your child. But remember last row should be dc row. ]
