For anyone who needs this: BODY ROW 1 -Make A slip knot -Make 1 chain and continue 20 more chain(total of 21 chains) -Double Crochet on the 3rd chain from the hook and put pin for remark -continue Double crochet on the next stitches(total of 18 dc or double crochet) -Left 1 chain and double crochet at that chain 3x -Then,Continue double crochet or dc in the next stitches. -In the last stitch make double corchet 2x -Followed by slip stitch to the first stitch where you put a pin for remark. ROW 2 -Chain 2 -Continue double crochet 40 and put pin for remark again at the first double crochet in Row 2 -Slip Stitch in the dc where you putted a pin for remark. -Do this for Row 3-9 ROW 10 -Chain 2 -Make 40 double crochet or dc -Slip stitch to the double crochet you pinned for remark. -End with 1 Chain -Take needle and sew the yarn behind the bag Sorry if someone couldnt understand.. I will add Drawstring later❤

If you don’t have hot glue you could slip stitch the two petals together. To connect to draw string just feed your yarn through the flower and slip stitch, knot it and cut the yarn

@@user-me1ob6zg8f The number of rows you want to crochet is up to you, it doesn't have to be 10, and this usually happens if you crochet tightly or you're using a small hook size. If it's wider than it's longer it won't have enough space to store something once you add the drawstring.

I've been scouring YT for a basic flower just like this with no luck. (I'm picky! LOL) Thank you! You might consider putting just the flower as a video, may even be able to make it a short! The keywords would make it easier to find. Making a bunch for a give-away at an expo. I'm making both flowers 🌼 and hearts 💗, and planning to add shamrocks ☘️ for March.

I am going to make an extra large version of this ! (about 15 cm) It won't be this adorable but it would be so useful with a larger size I followed the pattern for the rounds but started with a longer chain (I didn't count haha)

Yes it worked and turned out very good ! Even thought it was big it was still cute thanks to the little flowers. I started with about 27 chains at the beginning but i think my yarn is a little thicker.@@mauliddazulviana

For making the Flower : Magic ring , 1sc , pin it Continue with 4 sc inside mr Pull the short yarn to complete the ring Slip stitch and change colour for petals Chain 3 and 3 dc in same stitch , ch2 Slip stitch in next stitch and 3dc and slip stitch 5 petals in total

Ive made 2 of these now! I made mine a bit taller and I added 1 row of ruffles to the top. For one of them I made it black with white drawstrings a pink and a yellow flower and I crocheted 2 large white circles and 2 small black ones, put it all together, and made a soot sprite pouch! The second one I made in a sage green color with dark brown drawstrings, a purple and a pink flower, and im going to embroider runes on it. The second one is a birthday gift for a friend. Thank you for the great pattern! Im having a lot of fun getting creative with mine

BODY(Pink Yarn) ROW 1 -Make A slip knot, Chain 21 -DC in 3rd chain from hook and insert marker -DC in all other stitches, leave 1 chain at the end, DC in last chain -DC 17x -In the last stitch, DC 2x, remove Marker, slip stitch in the chain with Marker ROW 2 -Chain 2 -DC 1, place Marker, DC 39x -Slip Stitch in the dc where you placed the Marker -Do this for Row 3-12 ROW 13 -Chain 2, DC 40x -Slip stitch to the double crochet with Marker, Chain 1 -Take needle and sew the yarn behind the bag DRAWSTRING (White Yarn) -Make a slip knot, chain 70 -When done, cut the loop end -Repeat to make another one FLOWER PINK YARN -Magic circle, do 1 SC, insert marker, do 4 more SC -Close the Magic circle COLOR CHANGE -Pull the long yarn and insert hook into the 2 loops -Put the white string over the hook and pull the 2 loops through -Remove Marker and slip stitch into first single crochet WHITE YARN -Chain 2, 3 DC into same stitch, Chain 2 -In next stitch, make slip stitch -Repeat for the 4 petals - At last, slip stitch with the first stitch -Chain 1, cut the loop and access yarn -Make 3 more ASSEMBLING -Sew Drawstring in row 12 with 2 chain distance, till reaching the starting of it -Do same with 2nd drawstring in opposite direction -Glue or stitch the Flowers to the end

After I get my first 40. No matter how many times I try to get the next 40, I seem to still ge more even with the marker in the right spot, and with just going around I am not increasing or anything? Anyone know why? I keep getting 44 after the first 40? I have redone it 3 times now.

I have the same problem. I pause and watch the video multiple times even to see where she started the dc and count with her but I always end up with 17. In the video, it looked like she dc from the 4th chain from the hook, I did it with the 3rd chain.

Yes. That's because you start at the third chain. I calculate my length by adding three chains to the recommended chain length. 😊
