Thank you so much! I would like to suggest leaving your instructions on the screen longer. Being a beginner, I had to pause a lot! It would be nice to have them up while working the row until finished with the row or close to it. Very cute pattern and great job. Thank you for sharing!

Excellent tutorial and Chip is adorably cute!!! I think he needs at least some feet if not also short legs! I think they would up the cuteness factor!!! I love how you kept the instructions simple and easy to understand, and the pace at which you demonstrated the various stitches before speeding up, it was IMHO spot on, though it was a little difficult to remember the instructions for the complicated rows when the instructions only showed for a few seconds. But no biggie really, as everything was done very professionally and it wasn't that big of a deal to rewind and pause to get the row done. Your voice is very nice and the tone with which you speak is soothing!!! You could get you a side hustle going for narrating videos, and for sure books, for an Audible choice for the various books and platforms out there, or even auditioning for animated character voices in Movies and/or TV series!! Just MHO!!! Thank You!!! Many Blessings and Much Love!!!

For round 7 it's hard for me to tell - are the beak stitches all worked into the same/single front loop or are you spawning several front loops to match the stitches?

All in the same/single front loop.

I used 12mm for mine. 14 may be cute too though, I haven't tried them.

Hi :) Thanks for making this tutorial. I am brand new to this and am struggling to understand what to do at row three. Can you please explain it for me? I tried adding 6 single crochets in every stitch and it definitely didn't seem right lol.

Np! You can totally do this! in round 2 we end with 14 stitches. In round 3 we're moving up to 21 stitches. For round 3 you'll want to do an increase in the first stitch (that just means doing two single crochets in the same space) then do one single crochet in the next space. Then repeat that pattern. inc, sc, inc, sc, etc. This will take 2 stitches and turn them into 3, that's how we can go from 14 to 21. Good luck!
