I am so happy I discovered your channel. I have been crocheting/knitting all my life. My Nonna (Italian grandma) created the most Beautiful clothing. That’s what I have also done. I made baby blankets for family members as well. I do it for hours once I start a project I won’t stop until it’s finished. My first thought when you started making these was to make the bottoms first. I want to make some of your adorable little plushies for all the adorable nuggets in my life. I love these ice cream cones🥹 they are perfection! 🫶🏻 the plushies that you teach in your course, are they your own patterns? I just started crocheting plushies but some of the patterns I get stuck on, like the tofu the turtle plushie, idk how to get the neck to stay up like other crochet artists do😭. Idk if I’m just missing something or what. I’m really interested in taking your course, you are such an amazing artist and i aspire to be that good one day💜

If you don't have one you should get a yarn winder! It helps with storage space and yarn doesn't get tangled! Awesome video! I can make about 4 large ones a day 😂

Huge Awesome tip for frogging and unraveling: when you undo a project leave it where it lays DO NOT pick up the yarn mess leave it perfectly as it is when you unravel so when you crochet it back up or roll it back up for a yarn ball it will work up perfectly! I promise this tip will save you every time. I should actually do a tutorial video how to do this because it will save everybody so much aggravation. Lol. But I promise it will work.

These ice cream cones are absolutely adorable! I'm going to have to make some. What type of glue do you use to glue the mouth on? Do you glue only the corners or the whole mouth? I crochet and do craft events. I always do a production line, it's so much quicker. Thank you. Have a beautiful day!🤗

Thank you! I use fabri-tac glue and just glue the bottoms of the smiles down so they stay in place

i recently kept track of what i crocheted in 8 hours ... i finished the head only of a hamster doll / toy completed though.. ears sewn on face details finished.. and it is fairly large with color changes... but still... that is how long it took..

im so curious how did you manage to build up ur speed? Im only a beginner doing this for maybe a little bit over a month now but it still takes me several hours/days to work on one plushie :o Is it rly just practise? ♥

Yeah it honestly just comes with practice and crocheting more and more. I used to be very slow at crocheting but I do it so much now that my speed has naturally increased!

How do you get the bottom of the cones to stay flay? When I stuff, it makes the cones pop out at the bottom.

The key is to not over-stuff it and shape the bottom as you stuff

I admire those that do markets cause my hands get tired and cramp easily! I take a lot of breaks and stretch so I don’t know how they do it!

look into different crochet hooks. some get a bit pricey but its worth it. my hands would cramp and hurt for a few days after a project with standard aluminum hooks. I recently bought and tried an ergonomics crochet hook I found at Michaels and it made a huge difference. the handle is thicker and easier to grasp and manipulate.
