Growing up in the early 2000's, I feel like I got to catch the very last remnants of the 80s. There was still a ton of 80s cars on the road, and my parents had some. I grew up watching VHS tapes and listening to cassettes. We didn't get internet until 2006.

Here in Australia on one of our tv channels, they are showing "Miami Vice" from the beginning. I was just a teenager when it first aired on television, you can imagine the memories that come floating back when I'm watching the show now...

Who knew that one day we would find charm and art in analog tape flicker. I love the visuals. The 80's were beautiful in their own right and it is amazing how the aesthetics of things pointless became synonymous with our reverence for the era

Hell no. The black Ferrari Daytona Spider had that Testarossa beaten to a pulp. Try and imagine the driving scene in the end of the pilot episode while In the Air Tonight was playing without nighttime Miami reflecting in the black paint of that car.
