kelly gets her foot entangled at 6:38 and her foot is caught 6:52, then tries to grab the branch at 6:54, the croc comes attacks her from behind and shakes the tree and the branch snaps at 7:07

Members of the crocodilon family can't move that fast on land. Sure they can clock thirteen miles for hour but only in short sprints and if they have enough energy stored. At night on land with that length, it wouldn't be as easy as they made it look.
