He was born a Panther, his aunt is on the FBI's most wanted list, and he knew all about being broke, sleeping wherever he could, and became a ghetto poet like Nas did. NXS Productions bro I'm sorry to tell you that before getting famous tupac was rumored to be gay in his highschool was never in a fight or anything. it was only when he got famous did he put on this thug life act. I respect the guy for the messages in his music but he was far from a gangster or anything of the sort. I can explain why he did it and the propaganda they used to give him the image he had but I doubt you think critically so it would be wasted effort.

I was alive and driving (just to give you an indication of my age) as it pertains to Pac's life from the time he first released 2pacalypse Now. I also know of Pac's early life in Baltimore before moving to New York, I know of him going to the school of arts, I know because he was into theater and acting coupled with the fact that he was short and frail rocking a hi-top fade to make himself look taller, and I also know that--being the product of a Black Panther leader's upbringing that--he was highly political and societal in his views, his education, and his representation. He took a step back with all that gangsta shit when he signed to Death Row. To me, his best body of work ever was MATW, which was both heavily political and societal. It was no secret that Pac wasn't a gangsta. He said it in his own lyrics as to how he never got a record (criminal) until he made his first record. Your mistake with me is thinking that I'm some worshiper of a fan--and therefore--am unable to *use* my critical thinking. The fact of the matter is, I don't give a damn if he was rumored to be gay, I don't give a damn if he was raped in jail, I don't give a fuck about his time on Death Row, but that brother--regardless of sexuality and distractions--was an inspiration with a mind well beyond his years. How many 25-year old's whom grew up in his condition were able to find a lane, become successful and get the attention of the people *and* the government? Maybe *you* should use your critical thinking skills to look past his sexuality and propagated claims and listen to the words of the man before he made the biggest mistake of his life--Signing to Death Row.
