Defense is much better now in modern Euroleague thanks to big influx of American black players who play much better defense than most European white players ever could. Dzanan Musa's 40 points is far more impressive since he did it against superior defense, a much longer 3 point line, and was a historic 4 Over Time game.

@@SoBor911 He still managed to score 23 average against nba 90 s defense. So yeah maybe those four had something upfront than comparing to Musa who couldnt play in garbage time in nba, also legends are legends , decades are changing. And the defense is better because european basketball developed through coach influence and style, not american black players. And you can call them americans or afro americans, we are not in 1971 still.

@@mjjfk8750 I heard that a terrible booking error by the management of otherwise elite Slovene club Union Olimpija led to only their juniors arriving in Zagreb (Croatia) to compete vs. Cibona. And Draždn Petrović decided to punish them with an out-of-worldly performance. Still, as I remember playing a physically more intensive game than at age 30, to score 112 points even against 19 years olds is goddam impressive! I give any elite Euroleague player of today or then a little chance to even score 50 against such a young team!

@@zachvanwolf2123 112 was not impressive at all. Zadar decided to prove it shortly after and Zdenko Babic who wasn't even a starter scored 144 against a team from Cyprus in I think Korac Cup. Petro and Cibona were just being a$$holes bullying kids

Referee was bad and manipulate not God.

The defense was tougher then than in today's NBA.
