Great video and I need to go through my WIPS so I can get a 2024 plan down too.

I feel every cross stitcher is an addict! We need. We want. We can't stop. BUT, we're happy when we stitch! My mom, an addict book reader, said, "There are too many good books to read one you don't enjoy." Same with cross stitch. If a pattern at one time brought joy, but no longer does, move to the next great pattern and enjoy! No guilt needed! Just contentment and happiness in the time we sit and stitch. Happy 2024 🪡❤️

I totally understand that fear of certain charts. I have never done a sampler because I'm afraid of them. I picked one out in 2021 to start for my birthday in January 2022. The year came and went with no start, as did 2023. I have many WIPS like you, and so I have jumped on the "finish those WIPS" bandwagon. Maybe January 2025 will be my birthday sampler start.

Happy New year I write down how many stitches I do a day then add everything up see how many stitches I get in a year.I need to get a calendar like you got I need to list all my whips Great idea about your PS how you are doing it I’m going to do that to have a great week

Hi Artie!!! Happy New Year!! Your plans sound really great. I have put away all the winter and Christmas stitching I planned to do for now. I"m onto spring. I have my temp chart fabric and floss ready to go. I"m writing down the highs on my calendar so I can stitch more than one flower petal at a time. I just pulled Spring 4-Pack by Pickle : Barrel Designs. I have made enlarged copies and I"m about to pick out the fabric and floss. I love pastels for spring. Really bright colors for summer. I don't care for Primitive colors but that's just me. I know a lot of people like you love them. Thanks for sharing about the Sulky thread. I"m hooked!!! I'm trying to collect some different colors for each season. I already had most of my Christmas stitching done before I tried the Sulky but I'm getting geared up for spring with it. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on your stitching. Oh and I am also looking forward to Nashville Market!!! I'm trying not to buy any patterns right now saving up for March!! LOL

Hello Arttie! Great job setting up a plan. You can do it. Try to stay focused and stay in the present. Don't stress about the next month or week, just the now for your stitching.🙂 A happy new year to you and your family🎉

Please eat and drink a lot of water. 3 weeks ago I ended up having by kidneys fail. Ended up in hospital for 4 days. Because I wasn’t drinking enough and I would eat once a day then only eat half. Didn’t do it on purpose but I had alot of stress. That’s what happens when you don’t take care of yourself. I am 68 twice your age. But I know you will eat properly. Happy New Year TC

I did laugh a few times at the faces you were making to yourself! And then I was playing the 'guess the project' as you were describing the piece and/or the reasons surrounding the piece. I love your determination and positive energy and it definitely rubs off on your viewers. I have a Christmas stocking that I started last spring. My goal for 2024 is to finish a stocking for both of my boys.

I did so good at the beginning of the year then the summer happened. Like you i pick up and put down my planner. 2022 I did so good. So back to it in 2024. Love all the show and tell projects. Happy new year!

Nice plans for 2024. I used to be a monogamous stitcher too but have some 10 WIP's now. I allowed myself one new start on New Years day but am going to concentrate on finishing about 5 of my WIP's. Low counts in the morning and high ones in the evening when my eyes are a bit tired. Happy New Year for you and your family!

Land that I love…my Birthday start from 2022. I LOVE it, started at the bottom to get the houses done. I love houses, but I don’t love stitching them. I need to pick this one up again too. Love your plans for 2024. I am doing something different with tracking this year too. Good luck!

Loved seeing your plans and WIPs. I was giggling when you showed Land That I Love. I want to start mine so badly but like you and the Santa ornaments I am so gun shy starting it. The What if bus is stationary on this project. I have watched a few floss-tubers where after they get started they stop and restart on different fabric because they don't like what they have chosen. I just need to start it. I love it sooo much. I only have 4 WIPs but one is so overwhelming. I just need to get it done, I have stitched 3/4s of it. Have a great week.

Happy New Year! I think I'm going to work on WIPS and kitted projects, interspersed with small new starts. I've been stitching long enough now that I know I'm a monogamous stitcher. I must admit after watching floss tubes since 2020, I have become less a monogamous stitcher I once was, oh well too much inspiration, is to blame. I am trying to finish a couple of Christmas things now. Hopefully this year, I will FFO in a more timely fashion,

I am also caring for my mom. It is a stressful time and hard to focus on self care. Hoping for a better 2024 with stitching to help me with stress. Love seeing your work. Thanks for that.

I'm doing a BINGO challenge for Jan, so probably won't do the SAL with you guys. I used to be a monogamous stitcher (20 years ago), but have decided that I like multiple projects so in prep for January, I counted my current WIPS and I have 45. I don't mind the number, and love the flexibility of whatever comes to hand. I do sometimes get totally engrossed in a stitch and will work to a finish, but that's because I love it. I'm so glad for a new year, and new beginnings! Happy New Year Arttie!

I've been working on my stamina and exercising too. I'm older and have never been very active, but feel the need to work on a few things, especially my balance. Keep up the good work on your goal. That advent calendar looks like a lot of work.

Happy New Year! I think I am a monogamist stitcher by nature. I have about 15 projects kitted up, but I’m working on one. I like to do one larger one and then several smalls. I love the smalls.

Happy New Year! I used to work on one cross stitch project at a time. Then I joined a cross stitch club in the fall of 2022. Don't have as many WIPs as you do...yet. If you are ever in the area, Primitive Gatherings is about 20 minutes from the Appleton, WI airport. Once a month we meet and cross stitch all day. They even have a chef who makes lunch for us. Good way to spend a day stitching without interruptions. Love your videos. Have a great week!

Your 2024 stitching plans mirror mine almost exactly. Finish WIPS I have (9), when one is finished I pick from one of my fully kitted projects (12). My only exceptions are gifts (4 fully kitted up to this point). Also plan on no new purchases-I have too many charts! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that both of us succeed🥴

I am excited for you as well. So glad you have more teaching assignments as well. Plans, hmmmmm, well I have 80 starts ready for my 80th birthday in April. But testing positive for RSV has derailed those plans for the moment. I am on the mend, but coughing more and liking it less. I love all your videos, and I thought I was subscirbed, but found out that I was not. But your videos come up on my feed, so I haven't missed anything. Love your plans for the smalls. Where do you find pre-cut pieces of Aida, any color? If you are going to destash, please let me know, as I am always looking for fabric, but I can only stitch up to 28 or 32 count. No 40s, 46s, or 52s. I actually kove 20 count Aida. Have a blessed week, I am a devoted follower.

I have a handy cap wagered my hands shake so I am just doing crochet 🧶 right now but my favorite hobby is needlepoint. I enjoy looking cg😮
