The trancifier is a hidden feature baked into the code of Serato DJ that has existed since Serato Scratch Live! The trancifier once applied loops a track, halving the loop automatically until only a fine note sound is created. WOW I literally was looking for this two days ago I used to use it on Scratch live. Scratch live used to have so many Easter eggs. Like the DJ AM Easter egg or the Pong Egg. Thanks man.

This feature is assigned to and controllable via a knob on the Numark NVII, I will miss it as Ive now upgraded to the XDJ XZ

Didnt realise this was undocumented. Ive been using it for a few yrs. On my MC7000, once i have my loop set i just hit loop out twice quickly and off it goes. I know LL also has this on his custom SC6000 firmware. Dont know if its in the general public release version.

Inpulse 500 has a auto-loop knob and doing that without the hack I pretty easy. But good vid, gotta try that!

@@stevemcnaught1264 on the lower left side of both jog wheels are auto loop knobs. Press it and it will create a loop and by turning it you can make it bigger or smaller. Making it smaller and smaller creates a similar effect

i see why this was not added officially and they left the code in (prob breaks something else if removed)... its not either not fully finished or just won't quantise to work correctly. the auto halfing can be useful and wrong at the same time. a manual way is much safer, controlled and guarantee a great mix effect. simply do this trick yourself with loop halfing buttons or a knob with filtering and vinyl breaking applied... job done. plus no keyboard touching :)
