Crossfire DG16 (85L) Breakdown and Review

Today we go over the Crossfire DG16: A breakdown of the pack, what I like about it, as well as improvements I'd like to see in future Crossfire packs or any pack for that matter. A lot of people are still acquiring and shaking down what works with their gear, so hopefully this gives all of you some insight on this pack as well as things to look for in general.
Disclaimer: I did receive this pack at an industry discount, and since then I have gotten to speak with Crossfire and have established a friendship with them. With that said, I do make these videos to shoot it to you as straight as possible without any bias. I really dont know why these are so slept on. Slick or with armor by far the comfiest military type of ruck on the market and that goes for all their models.

For cold wx ops, ive been using bladders in external pouches on the sides, and reverse packing the conpartments (my supplemental clothes and rain kit go where rhe sleeping system goes. My cold wx sleep system, food, and puffies go in the main body. For sub arctic and arcric conditions(-20 to -40c) i found the sleeping system pouch too small. I used a waterproor valise externally mounted under the ruck just crushing down the existing pocket. That works pretty well too and let me carry a full MSS below the ruck, with water and immediate use tools on the side of the main body.
