Can't speak on the rest of the questions (that I also have), but the recall went smoothly. Sig contacted me 2 days after nutnfancy broke their rifle in the Utah desert, they sent me a box, I sent the rifle back, and it was returned a week later. It took almost 3 months to get the box, which was a pain, but the return after repair was quick. I never had any issues with the trigger on my 6.5 cross rifle, and will be back out in the next couple weeks to test it out.

They never gave those details. From nutnfancy’s review that found the problem and was the basis for the recall, it was an issue with the trigger. The result of the failure is in his review video, but it showed 1) pull trigger, no fire, release trigger, it fires, 2) pull / release trigger, no fire, bump the bolt handle, rifle fires. Likely an issue with dirt / sand messing with the trigger, but again, never received those details from sig. You can search for “nutnfancy” KZfaq account and find the cross rifle review that found the issue

Agreed, I was waiting for mine in 6.5 CM w/ camo pattern, broke down and just purchased it in blk.
