I have my girlfriend in El Salvador and we are planing to get married next year. I am planning to go to El Salvador exactly 1year later from now. I am researching for the flights and visas and I got to know that it is a visa free entry but at the same time it is very tough to go there. The government jailed almost all the gangsters and the country has been peaceful for more than a year now. Second: Salvadoran people are the most warm and welcoming people you can find around the world. All tourists here are treated like royalty. I have never heard of a foreigner getting robbed or killed by just being a tourist. We help or give money to tourists that get stranded here, quiet the opposite you are saying. Last: I invite you, if you have the means, to come and visit El Salvador and find out for yourself what El Salvador in reality is.
