✑ It was my idea, to travel across the desert. I was slowly starting to doubt my decision as our supplies were dwindling and there was nothing in sight but rock and sand. My companions didn't say anything, but I could see their worry clearly written in their grim faces, in the flat sound of their voices, in their tired looks.
Did I lead my friends to death?

I just finished a fantasy book where the company spends a lot of time crossing a desert. There was something magical about it. I don't know what it is about those almost dead places that fascinates me, draws me in, calls to me...

Martia: I create ambiences with original music. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I sometimes venture into sci-fi, horror, history, or plain (but beautiful) natural settings.
I am heavily inspired by books, as I am a total bookworm, by PC games and DnD which my husband loves and talks about. I love long cross-country hikes, that feel like a huge adventure and you can see it in the number of traveling ambiences I produce 😀

I grew up in a desert and this brings back a lot of memories for me. There is a certain kind of beauty that a desert holds and along with that beauty is a stark reminder of how hard it is to survive there.

I watched Dune part two in the cinemas yesterday. I felt that watching the characters cross the sands, watching the desert move. That it is time itself, that we move through it but time will always win, always remain.

Wow, It's a beautiful day outside, There isn't a cloud in the sky and The sunny days here are beautiful. Wow, The desert is dry. In fact, The deserts are dry and Everything is covered with sand. This video is amazing because I feel like I'm in this place. There are so many beautiful places in the world and This is one of them. @STARDUST i agree with @Ravens that Fly with the Nightmare Eyes - i think it demands a little bit extra from the reader. If you vibe with it and it clicks, its life changing, but if its a fight to get into its flow, youre in for a long long awful read

What was the fantasy book that inspired this video? I just read The Stardust Thief a few weeks ago, where the crew spends a lot of time crossing the desert too. I wish this video had been up while I was reading because this is perfect background ambience. 😄

I was reading the Remnant Chronicles series - story of a chosen one disguised as romance. I found your book on Goodreads... is it good? Apparently it's inspired by 1000 and 1 nights and I loved all stories that were based on it so far....

@@MartiasMuses Oh I loved the Remnant Chronicles! Those are some of my favorites. :) The Stardust Thief was excellent, in my opinion. I tend to really like desert fantasies.

I am happy to add the Stardust Thief to my "to read" list... thank you for the tip! Now I feel like traveling to Jordan or Maroco :D

Which book inspired this one for you? I'm interested. Also if you like this vibe you should give this one I'm reading a try. Its just my nature. I live in a city with alot humans and no real big forets or of course not deserts. But everytime i see a camera or a guy alone there... its just like i need to be there i belong there the desert is were i have to life and die! Somethings just calling me.

The wind is to loud and to long, you should've made it disappear at some parts and definitely let the music play without wind, how can you not understand this simple logic thing?

It's art, it's subjective. I wanted the wind to be overpowering, making it feel very desolate, I am still happy with it, wouldn't change a thing.
