In this episode we drove 1,400 kilometres, from the beach town of Esperance, up to Norseman, over the Western Australia / Southern Australia border and all the way to Ceduna, at the North Western tip of the Eyre Peninsula.
Highlights include the Bunda Cliffs, whale watching at the Head of Bight visitor centre and driving the 90 Mile Straight!

Back in the 1970s, when I was a student, during the Christmas break, I would go fruit picking to earn money. And met heaps of Brits in the process. Some of whom remained lifelong friends.Watching your journey reminds me of those days and brings back fond memories.Thanks.

The eagles at Cokklebiddy are in that cage for a reason. They were both rescued after being hit by cars, and have damaged wings or something. Anyway, they wouldn't have survived in the wild. Their story is outlined at the front of the roadhouse on a story board. We spent 3 days marooned at Cokklebiddy due to vehicle problems around June 2022.

Your vlog just came up on my screen yesterday and I'm enjoying your videos -better late than never! Aussies are known for their friendliness. I think it stems from the early settlement times when people relied on one another in a harsh, unknown environment, but also now it's just part of our culture. Also, we do not have the English class system here which is divisive. Everyone is equal in value, no one is considered 'better' which makes a path for friendship, the Australian 'mateship', which we value along with 'a fair go'. What did you think of the wonderfully, beautiful starry night skies out on the Nullabor? ( Or did the clouds from the three negative weather patterns - the Indian Ocean Dipole, Pacific Ocean Dipole and Southern Ocean weather from Antarctica conjoining, which is why you have experienced so much rain, and Oz has flooding - blanket that out for you?

It was a little cloudy and we also stayed in camp sites along the nullarbor which generally have enough unnatural light to block out the best of the stars. I think the best night of Star gazing we had in Australia was at Wilson's Prom! So pleased you are enjoying the videos, Aussies are indeed extremely friendly!!

Hi. We’re having our 3rd La Nina year in a row so cooler temps & lots more rain. We even had to go & buy more winter clothes in Brisbane & lits of flooding in various places around the country. You two have a great attitude to adventures in your travels… love your channel. Enjoy & travel safe. Cheers 🌺

Nuallarbor is not aboriginal for no trees, it is in fact latin for no trees. Nul ,or null -nothing and arbor or arbour - trees

"Null Arbor" is Latin for No Trees. Not "aboriginal" whatever that is. They have hundreds of languages.
