I think the snow is really leveling the playing field here. With proper traction the crosskart would easily leave the SxS inn the dust.

Rear wheel drive, but lower centre of gravity as well as less weight overall. I believe the lower centre of gravity is the key factor here, and not just horsepower.

Crosskarts are cool but no 4wd, no front n rear diff lock, less comfort, less storage, less aftermarket parts, just less of everything but hp and biggest problem....not a Yamaha. I love my YXZ and it has quite a few more hp that 150 and is fun af. Blasts through snow, mud, whatever I want. Only negative thing about a YXZ is there's no low range but I have a kit that makes 1st gear 70% lower, and the rest 30% lower so I can rock crawl, run 32" tires, it's a great damn machine. Me and and the gf or a buddy will go on several hundred mile trips and carry supplies with us. If I get stuck, it has a winch. Crosskarts are cool no doubt, but SxS's take the cake.

I think it’s like comparing apples to oranges. To totally different vehicles. If you only try to race track all day then the cross would be the best. If you want to trail ride and hill climb with your leeway SXS is the way to go.

@@jasonjaeger4042 sidexside is for old men with kids or grandkids. I mean you will have someone inside freaking out. Telling you to "slow down, dont do that, dont go there, stop let us out". The cross cart is for someone who wants none of that and nobody bitching. Plus a lot less money and cooler than the old man sxs.
