These two men are tools in Gods hands to spread and preach the gospel to the nations, I never rally used to like this kind of music, but the more I listened to it I heard more and more of the message in their music. Praise Jesus.

Keith H it is amazing to see so many young people turning to the way now. hard to watch these testimonies with a dry eye. in the last days the good news of the kingdom (under Christ) will be preached in all the earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. and everyone who calls on the name of the lord will get away safe. amen matthew 24:14

Thank you for posting this! These sessions are so critical for us on many levels: culture, youth, urban life and how we come to know Christ through the context of our experiences and with the full and precious reliance on the Gospel. As an artist, it is so encouraging to me to see artists living in their craft through Christ.

Trip Lee said when he first started going to church, he felt left out because he didn't know the songs. I remember I felt left out too for the same reason but my mom told my brother and I to just sing along. Even without the words in front of me I found it easy. Kept visiting church Sundays consecutively and learned the songs by heart. It's a little intimidating when it seems everyone else around you know the songs well. You think everyone else might judge you but we can't think like that. =)

@makinmoves2010 As DavidReborn hit on above, someone in the studio's cellphone was set to SILENT, but not to OFF, so the noise you are hearing is cell phone reception interfering with the microphone frequencies. If this happens at home, try getting your cell away from your speakers.

I found God through His Word. I had youth leaders, but everything they said came from His Word; if they didn't know something, they said they'd check and they encouraged me to "ask God". Obviously my leaders are from the church I now attend, so I'm technically a Free Methodist, but I really don't believe in denominations. What jumped out at me was God's claim that His Word is flawless, and I believe Him now. Therefore, if everyone trusts in a perfect Word, no denominations are needed. Unite!

Lecrae looks like a proud papa sitting next to Trip Lee. He cant stop smiling evertime Trip talks. The look on his face is like "look at this dude, i remember when he was that 14 year old kid. Now my boy is all grown up!" LOL!!!! 1-1-SIX

it doesnt matter if they get a record deal or not as long as they preach the word and getting God's word out in the world and living it thats all God wants an you can't say that they are in it for the money thats judging them and God says judge and thou shalt be judged..so if you say they're fake your no better for judging..they have brought so many kids in an start listening to the gospel cause of these two..i have friends they listened to Lecrea an now they're hooked to God..

I am looking to get into the gospel rap scene because of these two guys was doing rap in the world then became saved so my view or passion for rapping went away then one day I heard Jesus music from these guys then I went nuts then I searched some of their songs they had on you tube and these guys was hitting key points like saying this is a life style that we are suppose to live.

Idk if anyone responded to you but the name he mentioned was Tommy Nelson he is a pastor at Denton Bible Church in Texas. If you go to their website clicking on the "Media" it leads you to his sermons and books and I see there was a sermon on Bibliology. Hope this helps! SN: Didnt know Trip was 22, very mature and beyond his years! The awesome thing is the Spirit doesnt have an age, so the natural age isn't always relevant... Blessings.

i say preaching builds solid relationships with god only having music makes weak Christians i say also do what god has you do if its singing sing if its preaching preach if its a mix do it god moves us to do things with his hand on us love the music guys

its sad that there are these people who call themselves breathren but just want to dissaprove something that the lord has used to build us who have got to a point where we analyse and take the good from the blessings that God has sent to us. The word is what these guys preach and the lyrics are rooted in the word and they bring it out in a way that we can apply it in the this crazy sinful world.
@BRO77TX5 жыл бұрын
Martin Mulenga I couldn’t agree with you more!! I’m not a fan of rap by any means. But, in a genre that has mainstream artists that speak about drugs and killing and treating women like they talk about, I love hearing rappers spreading the gospel. God Bless these two gentleman for standing out in a secular genre.
