Park at or near the Crouching Lion inn, walk around the corner from the inn and up the first trail you see. There's some ropes there that will let you know you're in the right spot. Then you pass the pill boxes and up and up and up! Don't go if you have a fear of heights, seriously.

Then go! You could even just grab the bus. If you take the entire loop, plan on about 6 hours or so. If you just go up to the ridge and down it's like an hour or 2.

Back then I was shooting everything on a Canon 7D. I think most of the glidecam shots were with the 15mm fisheye. Pretty sketchy trying to keep that thing steady on the cliff, with the wind and tons of rocks to trip over. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Great stuff, very inspiring! I'm curious which camera(s) you used during filming. Also, did you use a steadicam rig on some of those nice moving shots? Thanks for posting!

True story. I hiked to the top of that 3 years ago. We totally missed the trail head and went on a detour for 1.5 hours before we got to the real hike. Luckily there was a little Caesar's in the shopping center on the way back.
