@@jeffmcbride8040 no thats just not true. Lmao tf. Birds can't just kill other birds like a bear and a wolf, in the air the crow would just have to stay above the eagle. It has no chance of killing a crow thats knows where it's at. Vice versa is true aswell

Literally the first time I put my hand in the air with raisns. the jump up and down towards me over my fence and ate out of my hand. And now ebvery evening they visit my garden and I give them food. You gotta love the Corvid species they are brazen beyond all get out when hunger takes over. If the Crow had wanted to it could have done some serious damage to that hawk whose talons at that moment were preoccupied with it's prey. They are A LOT more than just scavengers folks. In my 30yrs in the avian field i've seen them do some serious damage with those beaks of theirs. Where they lack talons like birds of prey have they make up for ten fold in sheer beak power alone not to be underestimated

I've been in the avian field for nearly 30yrs now. And have seen my fair share of Corvid battles vs Birds of Prey. And i never under estimate there intelligence or as in this case there perseverance. While they may lack talons as a Bird of Prey has. They surely make up for it in there beak power, mobbing tactics, and again intelligence.

The same way a lion could kill a hyena. The hawk and the lion know that if they get injured, they are as good as dead, so they prefer not to fight, but the crow and the hyena are smarter and they take advantage of that.

Wolf Core Actually, those are Australian ravens. They look almost exactly the same as Torresian crows, but they are actually a different species. Torresian crows are native in the northern states and don't range any further than southern Queensland. They overlap a bit with the Australian Raven which goes as far north as southern QLD but aren't the same species. The easiest way to tell them apart is by their calls which sound way different.

Funny, but today I realized something about a large chicken hawk hunting, he didn't get passed off after he failed at his attempt to capture prey. He was basically mellow, like thinking that it's natural to have a batting average of around 300 that time of the lengthy season. I think like him now, meaning, most get away. A bunch have taken so much from me, but they got a least one thing in common, they can go anywhere they want, but they know where they're not welcomed. I sincerely believe they have put more in to their relationship than their spouses. Keep throwing your nametag at me, I'm solely focusing on just one
