This song reminds me of when my family and I moved to Australia from El Salvador in 1988. Heard it nearly everyday on the radio the following year and will always be symbolic of my arrival to this beautiful country. Amazing song.

One of those good cleansing cries where you don't really know why you're crying because you didn't know Paul Hester personally, but after the cry was finished, you felt some sort of relief. Now, a song that can make you do that is truly timeless.

Have admired the Finn Brothers since the 70's. Had the pleasure of seeing Tim Finn in Boise, Idaho a few years back....that was definitely an awesome night!! Love the Finn's. Also; on a sadder note may Paul Hester rest in peace. Love to all and thanks for all the wonderful music!!!

I just spent six months in a leaky boat lol . This song is from my childhood years and for over twenty years all I had was the tune in my head and no one could pin point it till my manager heard me whistling it and started courus. I love stumbling across these songs. I remember when they were climbing the charts in the 80s, and although back then it was wall-to-wall hits, Crowded House always stood out to me as a higher level of songwriting. Each song was like a carefully crafted gem.
