This song reminds me of when my family and I moved to Australia from El Salvador in 1988. Heard it nearly everyday on the radio the following year and will always be symbolic of my arrival to this beautiful country. Amazing song.

I’ve been listening to Crowded House since 1986. They are awesome. I was lucky to see Neil Finn a few years ago. He played this song at the end of the show. The whole audience sang along. So much emotion.

I had just left a very bad situation and came across a man with a guitar busking at 1am. I gave him all my change and asked if he knew any split enz or crowded house. He played this song and I couldn't help but cry. His guitar was beautiful and I hope he gets to where he wants to be.

I love stumbling across these songs. I remember when they were climbing the charts in the 80s, and although back then it was wall-to-wall hits, Crowded House always stood out to me as a higher level of songwriting. Each song was like a carefully crafted gem.

Right now I can't think of another band with songs as great and ageless as Crowded House. Been listening since I was a kid (am 32 now) and still get tingles listening to their stuff. Perfection.
