This is actually Maggie Lester I just want to say that I found out I had breast cancer January 2020 I went through chemo and I was terrified for this journey that I was on. Almost two years to the day my husband found me not breathing and with no heartbeat. He called 911 and the hospital gave me a 1% chance of living. People don't usually survive that. I am a believer in the power and healing of God. I regret nothing that I have faced in the last three years.. it has made my faith stronger and has made me face death differently. I sing this song constantly. I want him to find me praising his name no matter what comes. I know Crowder will never read or see this but I want to thank them. It's this kind of music that got me through dark times and left me worshipping God for it all. Thank you.

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for this song! My 6 yr old son drown in June 2020, and that boy loved to sing! He belted songs like "confidence" "down by the river" and many other praise songs. Today as I drove home from work, this song came on the radio and my broken spirit was FILLED WITH JOY! I'm telling you, my son was in the back seat praising the Lord with an exuberance that comes from one who HAS WORSHIPPED THE LIVING GOD IN PERSON!!! it was the most REAL experience I've had in a long time! Really? Do they really put Jesus first? I tell you what I see, a bunch of show off rock star wannabees. I've been there, and done that, and I saw it all around me. Disgusted with ccm, I left the worship band thing. Been in many churches and its always the same old thing, christian musicians are a bunch of show offs using God's name to make money - Nauseating. Make the CD's, but have NO show off, look at me, feed my ego concerts. No music vdos either.

@@moonignites8418 The only one's who are not like that, are the bands that don't hire people on their looks, have you noticed how hip and trendy they all are, what about the fat girls, the nerdish guys, why are they never included in the groups? Coz it'll tarnish the image - they take their cues from the world. They love the stage, the lights, the screaming teenage girls - its sickening. Maybe you're not a musician, so you don't know what happens to you when you walk onto a stage? I do, I've done it thousands of times, and i can tell you, something else comes over you, everyone's eyes are on you and you love it, and so do they.(the musicians) The Bible says we are to have NOTHING to do with the world, yet they imitate the world entirely. Read Can We Rock The Gospel by Dan Lucarini, and Why I Left The Christian Contemporary Music Movement. It will shock you as to what these people are all about. Most of them are, of course, in bed with the NAR movement anyway. There are, however, a few that don't have girls on the stage that are dressed as hookers, and where there music and reverence for God is genuine - a FEW. But as for the others, I'd rather go to a Megadeth concert than go and watch those fakes coz - Better the devil you know than you don't know. If you had to tell worship musicians that they are no longer going to play up on the stage, but in a separate room where no one can see them, how long do you think it would take before they would no longer make themselves available to play in the worship team/band. I bet within 6 months you'd have no worship team - you know it, I know it, and so do they know it, coz they love to be in the limelight. And many members of the congregations have admitted to me that they know it too, but nothing gets done about it. The scriptures are very clear, "I will oppose the proud, but give grace to the humble." Oppose means you're the opposition, which means you're not on God's team, so who's side are you on? July 3rd 2018 my heart stopped and i died.i remember going out singing all my " all my hope". I was peaceful and joyful. I am greatful that God brought me back and as this song says...i hope he finds me praising his name no matter what comes...
