i don't know if anyone will read this but i think azi's "i forgive you" meant something different then most people think. The kiss wasn't tender or romantic, it was aggressive and desperate. It was Crowleys last effort to convince azi to stay with him. I think azi's "i forgive you" meant he was forgiving Crowley for using how they felt about each other as a weapon essentially. He was showing azi what he was leaving. Pouring all of his anger and hurt into one kiss in an effort to hurt azi in turn. So azi said he forgave him, but crowley doesn't want to be forgiven. He wants to be chosen.

I always thought that these song fit Crowley's perspective so well. It didn't matter to him if he was a demon, an angel or anything else. He just wanted to be with his angel. After they turned into 'outlaws' from Heaven and Hell, Azi's routine didn't change that much, but he still longed to be accepted by heaven. While Crowley was being pestered by Hell and sleeping on his car, he'd still run to Aziraphale's side and know everything about him (his tone of voice for separate occasions, what bars and caffes he'd frequent, how he keeps his bookshop). For Clowley it didn't matter if they were angel or demon. They were them, Aziraphale and Crowley. However, Aziraphale would almost always comment that he was good and Crowley evil, without actually noticing (or denying to notice) that Heaven wasn't so "good" in itself and he doesn't understand that not every angel is as good-hearted as him. This was probably why Crowley always behaved well and treated Muriel kindly. She just reminds him of Aziraphale and him from a long time ago, when he was an angel (as the song says "you're familiar like my mirror years ago"). He's baffled by their innocence, but also want to protect it and them.

in my opinion, azi "forgives" crowley for the fact that while he is trying, as in the first season, to save the planet or, as in the second season, to make a good place out of heaven in the name of the greater good, crowley, on the contrary, gives up, thinks only about his happiness and well-being (even if it just consists in being together with an angel). azi refuses to believe that god has left earth and heaven, he is sure that armageddon and shitty leadership in his head office is a mistake, not a rule and reality, as it is and was intended. from his point of view, crowley's actions are pure selfishness. although in fact, of course, all of them are dictated by his long-standing and complete disappointment in god and his righteousness. he believes that god probably just does not care, that the world is in any case doomed to die a senseless and cruel, like a god, death, all he wants is to snatch at least a couple of moments of peace along with the love of his life. it is a conflict between the idealism of azi (pathologically naive in the second season) and the cynicism (or realism) of crowley. what is most heartbreaking, however, is whether crowley understands the nature of these "forgivenesses" of the angel. what if he thinks that azi forgives him for his feelings, "dirty" and "unacceptable" for the angel (a perception that is reinforced by the 6000-year-old arrogance and disregard of azi)?....

I think partly Aziraphale's "I forgive you" is complicated and could come from many sources. He may be forgiving him for scaring him by grabbing him so roughly and yanking him like that. He probably also feels abandoned Crowley--in his mind, he was giving Crowley a chance to be with him (Az) and also right some of the wrongs Crowley complained about. Thirdly, I wonder if "I forgive you" is a roundabout way of saying "I love you"--which he might not have the vulnerability to do yet. Finally, I wonder if Aziraphale is thinking something like, If only you'd told me this before I committed to going back to heaven! If Crowley had been more open about his feelings earlier, this might not have come up. Of course, Aziraphale also wasn't open about his feelings. It makes you terribly vulnerable and is frightening. They hadn't found the courage yet.

I think the "You go too fast for me, Crowley." DEFINITELY meant something else, yest hes a quick driver yet also maybe he was pushing their friendship too quickly as for instance with the kiss, it was more or less Crowleys last effort to bring Aizraphale with him, yet it obviously didn't work, yet he went too fast and used their slowburning feelings to try and nudge him to follow and Aziraphale obviously didn't accept the kiss which links to how he was saying "you go too fats." LIKE Crowley wants their friendship to grow even more yet Aziraphale still wants Crowley to be the Angel he once was,
