Thank you for sharing!! camped at the mouth of Dark Canyon and spent a day walking up it on my first river trip years ago (and many times after until the mouth got grrrosssssss), the singular moment I fell in love with canyon country.

The amount of foam is crazy, never seen that in a backcountry creek and not a polluted city waterway. What causes it? Rad descent!

Sometimes we use different color schemes to distinguish prototype boats. Unfortunately only one valkyrie color scheme for now!

Not really, but one interesting clue is that way more foam seems to form in desert drainages on snowmelt than does on monsoon rains
