I didn't think so either. I heard Johnny's Revenge first, not knowing it was the second song in a trilogy. the first one or two times i played it i had mixed feelings for the song, I liked the parts where there wasn't screaming, so i made a edited version of Johnny's Revenge, editing out most of the screaming, but it felt not quite right without the screaming parts. I went back to the original, and it grew on me! :) later i found out that Johnny's Revenge was the second song in the Johnny trilogy. I went on to the other two and got obsessed! :3 i find the Johnny trilogy to be really cool, and it left me craving for more song trilogies.

Everyone keeps mentioning Back Butler, but this song really reminds me of that movie Ghost Rider. The main character: Johnny rides motorcycles with his dad. He sells his soul to the devil to save his dad from cancer, only for his dad to die later. From the deal to the end of the movie Johnny is cursed to be a mercenary to the world, saving the good and punishing the evil, able to see every bad thing a person has done. If you haven't seen it I highly reccommend it.

I always find each of the members of TFW fit one song: Sam fits Johhny Ringo (his life was ruined by a demon, and he also trusted one) Dean fits Johnny’s Revenge (Dean has an intense hatred for demons. Plus think of Demon! Dean and the such. There’s also the fact that Dean was the first brother to go to hell, which fits the bit from the beginning. That experience really fucked him over) And Castiel fits Johnny’s Rebellion (that one bit where Castiel thought he was god. Remember that?)
