1988 Crown Supercoach - Start-up, Walkaround, Drive - June 27, 2019

5 жыл бұрынI had to move # 19 and decided to make a quick video. I hadn't run it for a couple of weeks, anyway. Apologies for the dust on the camera lens. This is my personally-owned 1988 Crown Supercoach; it has a 671 Detroit Diesel Engine and an Allison Automatic Transmission. I drove this bus when it was in-service.

Here in the eastern US, Crowns only visit; none were ever in service here. And this one is an automatic (definitely rare air for Crowns in general - let alone SuperCoaches).

@@PGHammer21A Wow! That sucks. Los Angeles had hundreds of them. Definitely sounds more quiet than the original manual engine. 🚌

Late, late reply, but I'm not sure yours is the 32 I was thinking of. 1988, had a black steering wheel, all black dash and slightly different shifter without the bent knob. If it is the same 32, why did they put an older style white steering wheel in it?@@Nasbus

I noticed that. The one that I rode on as a youngster in the very late 60s was an automatic.
