Honestly thank you, your videos got me over to this company and I've been slaying it since I got here, getting my own loads dispatching myself I'm able to do things the right way other than the silly dispatch lol , thank you for your videos keep doing what you're doing

I'm still doing power only dry van. I'm not hearing anything very good about flatbed to make me get back into it right now. I'll wait on those guys with the expensive truck and trailer payments to cry uncle and let the market reset itself before I invest any more in the business. I'm averaging mid $1.50's to $2.00 RPM including my deadhead, and I have $0.00 invested in a trailer. The $ areas keep changing. Sometimes I do best with a lot of short hauls back to back bouncing around IL, IN, KY, OH and MI, and then it changes to stringing a few long hails together. Important thing for me is to stay busy as my insurance costs the same if I'm parked at home or I'm out OTR making $.

I run out of Houston $3-4 50 a mile on average 500-600 miles I dead head empty alot cause i ain't running cheap either

@@412hwc nahh brother I’ve seen worse than this. Just have to step up your game and be smart and move your truck to where the money is and hold your ground, don’t stoop to their level keep your chin up and rise above it. They’re not as smart as you and I if they’ll run that cheap , but heck they’re a bunch of dry-Van monkeys trying to be a flatbed’er so they think $2 a mile is great money, but they will tap trust me! give them a few 100° days in the sun folding up tarps or a few freezing days come this winter and they’ll be back to their swing doors soon enough😉 But I did doom and gloom title this video and you watch how many views it’ll get, people love train wrecks 🤷‍♂️

@@sturgelltruckingllc4074 lol thats why i said "did doom and gloom finally come your way" its deffitanly ugly out here right now. this is our season and its been rough. i have a pretty decent lane for myself...but i hate it. its just pa to va...nothing but 79/66/64/81 and bacc roads and of course high fuel and no good parking....buuut its consitant and paying the bills for now....im ready to go truccin again tho....i miss just going almost anywhere. or a day thats just driving only.

@@robertpagan1282 I don’t do tax videos for many reasons, including liability. I would suggest you get an LLC and pay a good CPA in your state that specializes in trucking so you can get all the deductions available to you.

If you never want to come home. If you have to make money then don’t lease purchase. Because now all the mistakes and burden of being slow are on you. Trust me it is a terrible idea.

funny story. just last week. so i run outa tha burgh. got 5 coils outa homestead..good money goin to lynchburg. fuccin russian mafia "freenet express" lime green truccs. customer is a wide open lot. i pull outa tha bay this guy goes to set up takes out tha porta potty n than the corner of the customers building!! huge lot plenty of room idek how he could have even got himself in a position to do what he did. flip flops, didnt speak any english at all....running 5 suicide couls🤡🤦🏼‍♂️💀....they did call the police tho because dude was mad at them for having the building in his way aparently.

@@aquaticsunset with US currency😉 they sell a great kit with pretty much everything in it for $2500 or so it may have went up. I’m not positive, but they will let you make payments on it if you don’t have any money.
