I agree with u on so many levels. Cruella is such a good movie and it is even better when set up against the non-sense that is the rest of the live action disney remake line-up.

What is a tragedy is at the end in 101 Dalmatians Cruella became the very person she hated, despite, the person she wanted to take everything from and break her down….The Bareness….like mother. Like Daughter…

She did embrace her dark side in the film,but held on to estella’s good qualities. In the end we see here in the mansion,rich,and is in power. I guess that power is the very thing that will destroy her . Eventually she’ll become just like her mother a woman who will do anything to stay in power and stay on top. A possible motive of the Dalmatia fur coat later down the line.

Awesome tribute, great way of showing her ascent(or descent depending on your pov) into the persona of cruela. And in all honesty the movie itself could’ve been a stand-alone thing, if you’ve never seen 101 Dalmatians the movie would still make sense.

They all anti-heroes in some way and just flawed humans. We grew up thinking wanting to be the best at all cost, being tough and not caring about other feelings were wrong thanks to fairytales and Disney. Which told us you should sacrifice your desires for everyone and should strive to be a goody-two-shoes and liked by everyone. Think about it Goldilocks was a house breaker and thief. I would be pissed if someone came to my house and eat the food I had taken time to prepare to eat after a hard day of work but we forgave it. Snow White, the prince is meant to be a hero but all he did was show up and kiss someone without proper consent. The King and Anna from frozen horrible people. Who locks up their child because they different and the sister was forget about your trauma it all about me me me. Sorry for the rant but for some reason they meant to be good.

No, I feel like this a different cruella for 101 Dalmatians but will be as psychotic or even worse than the previous cruella’s. I think this cruella’s motive for the Dalmatian coat won’t be as simple as it looks nice, I think there would be more like as a way to stay on top of the fashion industry.

This was an Incredible Masterpiece for My All Time Favorite Version of Cruella De Vil and My Third Favorite Live Action Disney Villain. Emma Stone Truly did a Magnificent Performance Giving Us The Origin Story of Cruella De Vil. I can’t wait to see what to see what Emma Stone is going to next with Estella Von Hellman/Cruella De Vil.

I want to watch it even though I know how it will go because who doesn't love a classic cliche movie. The underdog had a hard life, does some bad stuff at first but is gifted. Tries to get the acceptance of those in power. But gets overlooked and seen as dirt. Decides to venture out and play them at their own game. Win some, lose some battles. In the end, wins but slowly become what they hated and try to fight against in the beginning and therefore lose themself and become eviler and a monster than the original. What there not to love. Cliche but the classic plot.

Cruella is good but I still like, The Three Musketeers, movie from the 90s best. Tim Curry was an awesome villain. Then my second favorite Disney movie is Hocus Pocus, then Cruella is third. If I was a girl then maybe Cruella would be my all time fav.

Will give them this: at least they didnt bucher the original story to make cruella look like the good guy and went with a semy-original plotline in witch cruella could be a good guy. Added a few names and elements from the og story and named the film cruella. No offence to any maleficent fans, but in that movie the king turned cartunisly evil so maleficend could by contrast be good.
