This run was pretty terrible, but since I hold all 14 track world records, I figured I may as well go for the full game record too. This only took a couple runs lol.
I've never really been into RTA or full game speedruns, and I'm much more into individual levels. I don't plan on improving this any time soon, unless it gets beaten.
I played pretty safely throughout, but had a number of mistakes, bumps, and one car crash in Chicago due to bad traffic luck. It can very easily go down some more, especially if I were to drive using the standard strats used for individual tracks.
In any case, I'm happy to have got this!

Dude I am planning on uploading a 100 percent walkthrough of this and wanted to see if anyone else had uploaded a video like that for this game. Instead I stumble upon this and it's amazing. lol. You are damn good. Better than me for sure.

This game was strange/. More than half courses in California alone and then some real strange places like Iowa and Indiana.

For real... Or how the star was all the way up in South Dakota and not North Arizona. Developers had to be playing lol. Teleporting you all the way north east in half a mile.

All Terrain Vehicle allows you to drive rough terrain without losing speed.

When you drive off-road for 20 seconds straight, the game places you back on the track. I take advantage of this in a few spots to save time.

You need to beat this WR again, but now recording it in 8K or 4K @60fps. Your work deserve to be watched in the highest resolution possible.

Super curious, why is driving off-road so beneficial exactly? This was an entertaining watch but I'm someone who thrives on commentary when it comes to speed runs haha. That said, I do have a lot of nostalgia for the music of this game...

The ATV is not just faster off-road, but also faster than every other vehicle on-road.

How are you making such sharp turns? I remember making a lot of wide turns even though I wasn't doing anything different than when I made sharp turns.

Be sure your steering setting in the options is maxed out.

@@IcySpeedruns I'm playing it right now and I just checked. The steering is on the green (far left). It could be my analog stick? It is kind of wobbly

Probably using Manual. Easier to get top speed if you know what ur doing.

Nope. While the run could be a lot better, there's not many people playing and not at a high skill level. It will definitely get beaten eventually.
