Can't get enough of your family! So interesting, different, and fun guys! I've been to Alaska and New England/Canadian Maritimes 5 different times, escaping the Texas Summer Heat. I can't imagine no AC on those islands, and hot out on deck. Even in Summer, it's cool to cold out on deck when I'm walking. I enjoy seeing all of your endeavors, meal selections, and just everything the boys get into. One good thing for me, is in Alaska, there are few chances for cellphone connection, so you just enjoy nature, the small villages, hiking around--and Holland America is geared more for (at least Alaska) for 50+ but there are kids, but not nearly as many as on Carnival. I was sorry Trevor was seasick--on my first Alaska Cruise (went by myself), all I could do was stay in my cabin because I was seasick--didn't know about patches in 2001, so I eventually got over it, and never had any semblance of it again--so there's hope for Trevor, as you get used to it. The Inside Passage in Alaska is likely a bit more calm, but either way, sorry he's not feeling good. GLAD each time you post, and excited to see all your fun exploits. Keep up the good work Jack, Trevor, Drew and Mom, too!

Trevor's probably suffering motion sickness "sea sick". Mild symptoms normally last about 3-4 days while at sea.

Like Jack, on my 1st cruise on the Cunard Countess back many years ago, I too frequently ordered 2 main entrees for dinner, as I could not decide between the 2. Luckily the waiter only brought 1 set of sides (veggies, salad, etc.) or I would have required a wheelbarrow to deboard the ship. Best cruise ever: Southern Caribbean which embarked from San Juan Puerto Rico!❤ ⛴

I only went on one cruise in my life, and I was about Drew's age. It was a Mediterranean cruise that began and ended in Barcelona and I didn't have the best time. The food was great, but there wasn't much on the boat for a 13 year old girl to do, and I had more fun on land than I did on the boat.

Here we are only allowed to drive a car under supervision from the age of 17, provided that the 17 year old has already obtained a driver's license. How is that going for you?? But I have to say... They are a nice couple together... They keep the parents young!!
