I installed this on my BMW R1150R. Throttle hosing broke and HD offered a well... nicer more affordable replacement. Had to delete the throttle advance lever that came on the BMW. This is great to set the bike at 1500 while warming up and getting my gloves and helmet on. Works great on the hwy as well to give your hand a break.

It is a mechanical cruise control unit. I will buy it to my fatboy. Thanks for share...

whoa, whoa, whoa, i just saw you can use a large o-ring that is tight, to wedge the throttle at a set spot, instant install, about .50cents... IDK Also ebay has a DEF for $12. Throttle lock saves your back because muscles don't tighten up along arm, neck, spine, lower back in that order. good luck
