Thank you... I just instantly teleported. This is my home. I'm born & raised MB. So much is gone, so much change... I tell my kids all the time about what it was like. God I miss all this.

Thanks for uploading this. Myrtle Beach today is nothing. The biggest mistake was removing the pavilion

Man, you have no idea how much it means to me to be able to see this video. I used to go every year with my family when I was little, so I remember going around '98. I was only around 9; I haven't been since around that time. I fought tears watching this. I know it's a simple video, but thank you so much.

Man, who are you telling. The beach was really the beach then. Life was overall better in the 90's anyway.

Thanks for posting this. We were down there in Labor Day Weekend. I had my first SONY Handicam and Shot hours of video. Unfortunately on the last day , I let my Niece video me riding waves and stood to close to the shore and the salt spray corroded my camera. But I was able to save the tape. What a year. Thanks for sharing. MB aint what it used to be. I mean tearing down the Pavillion and the Magic Attis ? Com'on

Very nostalgic! Thanks for sharing. The Pavilion, the music and the fact that the only way to film was by camcorder just adds to it. Wish I could had filmed many of moments like these old decades if I only knew about what the future held!

In 1998, that summer i rode the Corkscrew 30 times in a row, just to see if i could do it and i did. lol =) I started getting dizzy about ride # 20, but it was still a blast, even if it did only last a minute. I miss riding the Rainbow, as it was probably my favorite ride in the park and gave a great view of the strip on Ocean Blvd.

So cool to see this. A moving place in time! Semisonic's 'Closing Time' on the radio, too. Great song. I am looking to head down there myself for the 1st time since 1993 possibly this August or September.

Making me drool over the Pavilion, wishing it was still there. Wished they had kept the Cork Screw and never built that crappy Hurricane coaster!
