Interactive and immersive learning
Our modern world is dominated by electronics. With a diverse range of careers in electronics available for young and adult minds alike, CRUMB offers an easy to use and interactive introduction to electronic circuitry.
Fully realised in 3D, you can construct prototype circuits as you would at the workbench without the risk of terminal component failure or the hassle of ordering individual components.
Large Catalogue that continues to grow
Infinite combinations and possibilities
Version 1.0 of CRUMB comes with a great selection of starter components to allow you to jump straight in to creating prototype circuits.
With the catalogue available it is possible to study the workings of transistors & audio filtering, all the way to programming an EEPROM to run a basic program.
For the beginner, it is possible to learn and understand the basics of interactivity, and for the enthusiast it is possible to analyse and perfect prototypes before constructing real world models.
Using the built-in oscilloscope and analysis views, it is possible to see clearly the interaction between components from within the wires themselves
Community driven development
CRUMB will continually be updated and expanded beyond version 1.0.
Through community feedback and suggestion, there will be many more components and features added in the future.
If you have a suggestion for CRUMB please visit the forum and leave a message

I had a real circuit kit as a kid, and had a lot of fun making it do different stuff. It was a fun way to learn about electronics and basic circuit theory.

One must ask the question. if you do something completely wrong, does it show and burn out components?

wasn't the transistor in the second example completely unnecessary? couldn't you have achieved the same result (putton press to light up the LED) without the transistor?

Yes, but I wanted to show something a little more fancy than just a button

@KerboOnYT

There are error messages about reversed voltage, over current, etc, but no animated smoke or destruction

I thought the resistor has to be on the positive side of the light. Or did I miss something?
@KerboOnYT
@KerboOnYT 8 ай бұрын
The resistor just limits current flow. It doesn't care about polarity

No, but it does have a current and voltage probe. IIRC it's the crosshair symbol under the Interaction menu

Things to check: 1) Polarity of the LED (turn on pins to see + - leads) 2) Power supply is on and at least 5V 3) Ensure you are in manipulation mode to push buttons (little hand icon)
@guyfoundry4228
@guyfoundry4228 Жыл бұрын
@@KerboOnYT 1) Positive pin is in 20E for the LED, Negative is on 20F. 2) Power supply is at 5V 3) Button is pressed, nothing happens Oddly enough the LED works per the first half of the video. Either I'm doing something wrong or there's a bug. I followed the video step by step, everything in the right location. In the most recent update they do allow the button to go in the little gap.

You're using an NPN transistor instead of PNP. Switch type and it will work fine
