Hey everyone! I received this chalk as a gift from some fellow ASMRist who wanted me to review it. Please keep in mind that this is my own opinion and thoughts.
As you see in my thumbnail photo this is how the blocks came out of the package. Not all were intact which I personally don’t mind with any brand, because I’m crushing it anyway. Some people do. 💁🏼‍♀️
The blocks didn’t all feel the same, the crunchier ones had a styrofoam feel to it, but it wasn’t like crappy Cappie (CAP Gym chalk)Chalk. It wasn’t an overwhelming feel of styrofoam at all, it still had a dusty feel. Ive heard others say it is dusty and it was, but honestly all fresh gym chalk is unless it’s the straight styrofoam kind. There were 2 blocks that were more soft and powdery. But, overall it reminded me of the good Z-Athletic gym chalk if I had to compare it to another chalk. The price (I know the price because I asked) was $19.99 for the chalk and shipping was $15 making it a total of $34.99. If you don’t mind spending that much for 8 Blocks, then definitely go check it out for yourself. But, if that is too much for you to spend, then I recommend buying Z-athletic (Assuming you get the good box) for $10 off Amazon. Plus you get free shipping if you have a membership with Amazon. Granted if I didn’t have to pay so much in shipping I would definitely purchase it more here and there for $19.99. As much as I purchase gym chalk, it isn’t financially smart for me to spend that much for one box. I wish Gholibn the best of luck and if she is ever to come down on the price for shipping, I’ll be there to purchase some. But, I’m sure that’s hard when you live in another country. Shipping is definitely going to be an issue. 😊
