True, Yuji and Megumi are not really insane but imo, she was clearly mad since day one. Idk if it's related with her technique and how she has to hurt herself in order to win. Doing that with her wrist (or any body member) must have an impact in her beyond the physical pain.

Kishimoto is the first writer ive ever seen that can be so good at writing stories and yet be so horrible at writing female characters.

It's easy talking rich when the series just started and this is the first spaz season shes had. She's on par with what sakura and the girls demonstrated at the beginning. The reall test is if this continues at a proper pace or not. I swear kishimoto must be living in people's mind that he dosen't know exist.

Then she had another one good fight against Sasori at the start of Shippuden and once again went back to doing nothing for the rest of the series. At the same time, Sukuna was bragging to Yuji about the same thing, and Yuji told Sukuna to not say anything to Megumi because he would feel responsible for saving Yuji.
