@@StrangeNative69 Yes but that was because the 5 great nations were at conflict for many decades. This was resolved in the War arc and after the war was over, the world was at peace. In the Boruto era, the concept of children fighting and dying was basically unheard of, and the newer generation got softer and rarely showed such resolve as Boruto did.

Naruto wasn't weak here, he knew what boruto was doing was by choice, deep down he knew how Boruto felt, he was helpless in not finding a way to resolve his son's predicament. He doesn't see boruto as a kid anymore but as a selfless shinobi with a huge burden to carry, so no don't call him weak here, calling Naruto weak here is like telling a father who is crying because his son is admitted in a hospital as weak

This was the deepest and craziest battle and story line I have ever witnessed. This situation situation is getting so deep. The fact that kawaki killed boruto to save the hokage. Words couldn't describe how unreal the situation was when naruto seen his son on the ground like that. I can not wait to see what happens next because this is as serious as its gonna get. Somebody we love will die and it's coming soon. There is no way everybody is walking out alive. 😕

All part 1 is borutos flashback, its canon. Nobody knows who Boruto Uzamaki is so up to him to tell the story for us. 6 years we spent with this character, seeing his happy moments, the relationship his has with other and connections hes made throughout the series

the parallels between Boruto and Garou were definitely there, which is why reusing the death animation fit so well. Both were fighting Kawaki to the death, but only one of them was shakily scared. Boruto accepted his fate and stood still as Kawaki lunged at him. It really shows how well his character has developed.

Whatever slack I give to this series, you got to appreciate Boruto's voice acting here at the start, the way he delivers his sentence is so full of emotions (guilt, hopelessness, frustration) and simply in-character.

Before yall get on naruto realize this man came into the battle already at a disadvantage. Couldn't fight back cuz shikamaru got captured then seeing ur son and adopted son fight to the death would make any dad worry and start to stress out. Naruto was obv in complete shock the entire time and boruto took advantage and hit him with the gale palm and it obv was more effective cuz boruto was in his strongest form/state

@@ichacomodoshonen853very unlikely. An injured sasuke who got his s**t rekt by isshiki and lost his rinnegan was capable of matching borushiki. Sage naruto is much stronger than an injured sasuke

@@its_Criminal1 Borushiki was low on chakra in his fight against Sasuke. Just like against Boro, he had to use the body of an unconscious Boruto after he was beaten up. We already saw from the first part that being with low chakra nerfs you and in fact in the fight with Boro itself we are reminded of this fact with Borushiki having to absorb Naruto's chakra. In this fight Boruto was not exhausted or with little chakra, he makes it clear when he sees that Momoshiki stopped time. That's why we see Borushiki spamming Rasengan as the one who killed Boro.

Took me over a year to notice but Kawaki hit Boruto with the same move he debuted with in ep. 189. Only difference is he retracted his artificial body from Boruto afterwards.
