Ian McKellen's performance in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogies was magnificent! I love both trilogies and Gandalf is a very special character in them - the soul of this films. Kind, wise and brave wizard.

Of all the Istari, Gandalf was the only to return to Valinor- the only one to keep to his task. The blue wizards went into the east, doing what they do best: causing trouble for Sauron, but for some unknown reason never return to their home and fail their task. Radagast would abandon the world of men and elves for the animals of the world. And Saruman betrayed them all for his own selfish greed. But Gandalf stayed true. For 2 thousand years he walked Middle-Earth, inspiring the free people everywhere he went. Fighting for freedom. Not even a Balrog of the 1st age could stop him. Gandalf the Grey, Gandalf the White, the Grey Pilgrim, Mithrandir, whatever you call him. He is truly the greatest of all the wizards…

I loved it. I support this. Gandalf one of the Greatest Wizard of All Time. His greatest power never was about it showoff with the facing tricks, but also his true power always came from words of hope, courage and love. Even when we live in the most dark times of our lives, always will be a way out from there. Do what the Gandalf did look at the evil in the eyes and say "You shall not pass."

This video is the best Gandalf tribute I’ve ever watched. He reminds me so much of my Grandfather who passed away 4/8/20 What makes Gandalf such an amazing character is that despite his great power as a wizard, he consistently demonstrates humility, loyalty, love, kindness, compassion, grace & courage. And these were the tools used to defeat Sauron in the end. Not an army of 100,000 soldiers. Just the “small, ordinary folk” who you’d never expect to keep the darkness at bay

This was an outstanding edit on one of my favourite characters from the Lord of the Rings I really loved that you combined both hobbit and the LOTR together to make his character complete you captured everything that makes him special and that second sequence was brilliantly a nice mix of tension and suspense loved the part where you had him fighting it truly was a masterpiece 💙

This is perfection! The final section (Friendship) really got to me and I felt it truly embodied the aspect of Gandalf which is not just some wise and powerful wizard fighting the dark lord and his evil servants, but as a *personal* force of good who puts on firework shows for children and directly inspires hope in others as a friend to all who would accept his friendship. (Although, quick sidenote- I can’t seem to find the track for the last song anywhere. Could you help me out a bit here please?)
