The Holy Fury expansion adds a new level of depth and enjoyment for the pagan tribes, as well as some new options for world generation! In this series, we will play on a shattered world - every county begins independent - as a warmongering count in Lithuania! Our goals? Form an empire, reform a religion, bring glory to my warrior lodge, and father a mighty bloodline!

And that's basically how the whole war looked like.

Chief Radagost was a simple man. He lived in a big world and had big ambitions. He wanted everything as far as the he could see. After beating the memelians in the frog war , in which radagost went back and forth over a body of river he went on a mad spree of swallowing land across the plains. In which time he gained an heir and a very angry wife. What happens next in the Radagosts tale?

You didn't duel Sabr, you just accepted the mission that if you challenged him to a duel you would get extra renown, kind of a weird system how it doesn't automatically challenge him to duel when you accept the mission but anyway.

Im not kidding, this lodge is OP, but historical. Plus most lithuanians were warriors at the time. Yeah there were priests and stuff but ppl attended only bcz they were the ones that connected us to our Gods. With time a lithuanian would almost always be a great warrior

I found the easiest way to get friends was to join a warrior lodge, in case of my Germanic characters that were The Wolf Warriors, I randomly get lots of friends.

I think one of the focus(diplo focus) allows you to invite people to have a feast or something and sometimes you gain friends from that.

If you have the way of life dlc you can just get the theology focus and you'll get a bunch of priests as friends.

Nah, the whole animals thing is just a really gimmicky easter egg. It's entertaining for an episode or two but then it gets boring really quick. There's no portrait variety and the name variety isn't great either. I actually don't find the random cultures and religions interesting either, to me the fact that they're not historical and there's barely any lore either makes them really boring. I prefer historical settings. The only thing i can maybe be ok with is shattered world. The random world i really don't like.

You make friends by random notifications or being invited to one of those getaway-type things. Either you’ll gain a rival, a friend, or gain some diplomacy and such. Kinda cool.

My first game in Holy Fury was with the Baltic region too, weird coincidence. Though mine was in Latgale, Romuva part of Latvia and went on to unify the Balts + Poland.

You have to challenge him to a duel yourself. The mission only says that you will duel him, it sadly doesn't automatically send a duel request.

One easy way to make friends is going carousing in carousing focus. It's also the easiest way to get lifestyles imo

Easier way to get a friend is to be under the carousing focus and carouse people. Usually doesn't take long to get friends/

Radogost....seems remarkably close to what in my country is spelled as Radegast...which while being also a beer...is an old pagan god, (formerly )worshiped by various tribes throughout Bohemia or Germany. Different tribes had him as god of different things - reccuring would be Sun disc, fertility and fruitfulness...and also war.

I had a character whose personal combat skill had hit 80.

Lol. Amateur. I had one that got up to 241. Seven bloodlines, top tier artifacts, highest martial education, warrior lodge hero, lots of duel experience, duelist trait and battlefield sacrifices all stacked up. And it could have been even higher if i wasn't stressed. Of course around 100 or so of that are temporary effects from the battlefield sacrifices, which paradox will probably patch soon so it doesn't stack anymore, but still. You can easily get a character over 100, and in fact you need to for the legendary lodge bloodline quest since you have to fight some people with really high personal combat, somewhere around 90.

Personal combat can go realy fucking low, my king had -302 in his final years but was a 93 In his youth, he killed everyone he fought and strait up won wars threw it by just killing the kings in battle or capturing them when they surrendered to me in 1v1 duel in a battle

Personal Combat goes way higher than 50. I don't know if there's a realistic upper limit. My Norse chieftain had over 130.

I had a tengri nomad with 241. But around 100 of that were battlefield sacrifices stacked up, which i think paradox should patch so they're limited and don't stack to such ridiculous numbers.
