CK is so addictive. I can easily lose myself in it for hours, suddenly waking up like 6-8 hours later: with a full bladder, thirsty, hungry, with a stiff spine, etc.

@@Deeksreddy That's not a decent amount for 200 hours. Most people who have all achievements have almost 1000. I have 1500 hours on HOI4, and I only have 4 achievements.

For mother of us all, I highly recommend moving the capital to the gold mines, it makes mercenaries a lot easier which helps vassal management a lot, and if you don't control that area, the vassal who does will always be a problem.

My strategy for vassals during my Mother of Us All run was simple - ally yourself the leader of any faction if it gets too powerful. If you reform your religion to have polygamy, then you can have 4 spouses, each of them giving you a powerful alliance. If you land your children, each of them can also give you four alliances. This way, you can have 4x the alliances you would if you only accepted concubines. Once I figured this out I had zero issues with factions or rebellions at all.

That's definitely a solid strategy. I only avoid it for marathon speedruns because having kids is heavily RNG based, so I preferred the more long term viable strats around keeping vassals weak and culturally homogenous. If you're able to ensure you have enough kids for alliances, then yes, that strat is very good.

great video. saga in stone was pretty rough. contrary to this video, i say: skip greedy since it causes stress on title grants, don't let yourself or son marry so there's no kids, and zero your court amenities right away and your MAA when you're done warring for more cash to make up for not having greedy. maybe buy an extra siege MAA or two at the start to get done with the wars sooner. consider re-rolling the day 1 hold court event until you get something giving you 100+ piety.

I let my siblings get the empire titles and reconquered with my strong claim. It was pure chaos, mighty stressful and hell of a fun run.

I have over 1000 hours in CK3 but only have ~ 37 achievements. Mostly because over 900 of them are with mods. I cannot bring myself to try Mother of us all again. I attempted it several times, some even during the bugged state at launch where you could not log off. That achievement was meant to break players. My PC cannot handle the extreme late game, so I never really bothered with some of the long-term achievements. However, seeing videos like this makes me want to retry the ones you can cheese.

Badass guide! I’m still praying that Paradox adds common sense loyalty to the game. Like William the Conqueror should not have to deal with vassals he just landed getting pissed that he’s revoking the titles of foreigners!

you can save time in the spanish one if you provoke a vassal revolt and choosing surrender. it deposes you and lets you play as the heir. i recommend starting out as leon and using this to continue playing as castille with both kingdoms immediately under your control without war.

Only problem I can see with it is that the king of Leon is by his nature and stats a schemer. Letting him leave can open you up to assassination, and to vassal factions trying to put him back on the throne, but certainly it's an idea.

Nice. I've only got 3 achievements left: Saga in Stone, The Things Love Does For Us, and the Dauruma Daura one. Been getting trashed by the boredom of Daura run and Saga in Stone (had a different method that takes a couple hours), and the rng of TTLDFU

Saving the best for last eh? Hopefully the Saga in Stone method I've got can help you, as well as TTLDFU, but for Mother of Us All, not much of a shortcut besides getting good unfortunately. Best of luck though!

@@Tarkusarkusar I tried your Saga In Stone method and I can't get my silly Greek vassals to claim the throne. It doesn't matter if I play nice or jail all of them, no one seem to revolt. Usually they try to kill me, but that's not really a problem. Do they need to be Dukes in order to claim the throne?

@@runedrewsen If you're having trouble with that, I'd actually recommend one of 2 actions: 1. Delete all Men-At-Arms and go throw your troops away to attrition somewhere. This will make any vassals who think you are strong think again. (Don't forget that factions cannot form for the first 10 years of the game, so make sure to have waited for at least 10 years before deciding they won't overthrow you) 2. Find a claimant to the empire who is ambitious (or just one who at least isn't craven or anything) and give him a crap ton of land. Then piss him off by trying to assassinate him and get caught, or imprison his family, etc. He will probably try to claim you, again, only after 10 years though, since factions can't form for 10 years from game start. Hope this helps!

Since I completely forgot about this near impossible achievement, I'll do my best to explain it in writing: 1. Depending on the social standards of the place you live in, find yourself a man, a woman, or non-binary person. This will be your mark. 2. Learn how to make jokes, have some kind of impressive skill, and be able to hold a conversation (there are videos online about this sort of thing you could check out) 3. Use the skills in step 2 to make the mark laugh, smile and remember you. 4. After some time of repeating step 3, take action depending on your culture's standards. You may ask his/her/their parents for the mark's hand in marriage. You may ask the mark to go on a "date" or you may simply propose a wedding on the spot (this option is the optimal route for speed, but isn't so good in long-term playthroughs.) 5. The next actions will depend on the reactions you get from the steps you took in step 4. Potentially, you may already be married now, but if you have to go on dates, I recommend other videos that specialize in how to date. 6. Enjoy your achievement! I hope this explanation was good enough for you to be able to achieve this monumental challenge!

So I found that I couldn't declare a Varangian Adventure on Estonia (nor several other places nearby) despite being distinguished for the A Dangerous Business Achievement - was able to Adventure for further East but that did not give the achievement. Is it possible they patch corrected this to be actually outside of Europe now?

Thanks for the guides! Any chanse for updated ones with all the balance changes that have happened + royal court? Many of these strats still work, but some are a bit iffy, and some don't work anymore. Like for example Wily as the Fox, you can't convert to islam that easilly anymore, you need a LOT of piety.

Would you consider Ivar to be better than Haestain now for King of all the Isles? Since he's 21 you have a lot more time than Haestain, and about the same number of troops

For mother of us all, I personally reformed a slightly different religion when I earned it. Rather than faith conversion being the primary focus of the religion, I chose warmonger (similar reason to you), human sacrifice (tons of piety from mass executions to fuel my holy wars and to get Religious Icon super quickly as a new character to increase vassal of same faith opinion for good realm stability), and Monasticism (to reduce the number of children I need to disinherit or execute). I also made myself a temporal head of faith so that I could wage great holy wars for kingdoms in addition to my regular holy war and conquest kingdom war to speed up the last few kingdoms on the map. Other than that, a lot of the other options just depend on your playstyle as you said. Also, I found it is best to conquer by regions rather than jumping back and forth. If you jump back and forth, you will constantly be pushed up to your vassal limit and have to redistribute things, but if you conquer kingdoms, just allocating everything to one king is significantly easier to manage. Also breaking it up into chunks allows you to better see the progress you are making to keep you motivated in such a long run.

Sorry to bother again, but when I try these achievements the way you do, some things prevent me from going on. In the "Vladimirs second choice + land of the rus", I eventually have many kids, cant imprison or dininherit them, and when I create the kingdom title of gardariki, it says my children are heir to some kingdoms, even though they werent created yet. the land I own that are de jure of a specific kingdom, they inherit and imediately are kings... Hence spliting the realm and having to do everything agin. Does this make sense to you, or am I missing something painfully obvious?

A Perfect circle: How do you get 2 children with your grandson, when you're only fertile until around 45. Not enough time. @Tarkusarkusar

your strategy for perfect circle doesn't really work by the time your grandson becomes 16 you're going to be past 45 and you won't be able to get these grandchildren

It depends on how early you start. Even if you have trouble with bad luck in pregnancies, you can always get one of the granddaughters married to one of the grandsons, and then you'll have the same outcome

When i did perfect circle i played in Iceland with low diplomatic range (so people wouldnt try to seduce my kids) and a custom Adamite ruler with a son and a daughter. Made sure i was chaste and tried to educate my kids to be chaste so they wouldnt try to seduce other people and just waited until they had a son and a daughter as well and got them married, rinse and repeat and it worked first time for me, wasnt too tough

For Saga in Stone, do not get the trait Greedy, because you will have to give land away a lot of times, too much stress. Pilgrimage might not give enough piety so get some pious traits. Do not get married can spoil the whole run.

You can always take the achievement slowly. Swear fealty to the Byzantine empire, and conquer them from within, getting independence later. Conversion cost is, unfortunately, tied to fervor for the most part if you're not able to stack modifiers, so if you get unlucky, you may have to do a slow strategy.

This strategy no longer works for Wily as the Fox, because of patch changes with conversion. It now costs over 2.6k piety to convert to ash'arism even when you control sicily. Any other way to speedrun it? Maybe becoming vassal to byzantene empire, make a sinful ruler for them, claim the throne, convert to catholicism, and convert one kingdom?

Not hating on this at all, GREAT video, but I am having an issue. I don't think the Norman Yoke strat works EXACTLY as shown here anymore. Not sure if I'm missing something or if there has been a game update that "nerfed" this, but I cannot get this to work as shown IF I create a custom ruler for the Kingdom of England then start as Duke of Normandy. I must start as the Duke of Normandy without creating a custom ruler for England. Then everything is pretty identical to the video, except the war is a bit harder.

I did mother of us all on release, and at the time achievements were bugged where if you loaded a save you could no longer get the achievement, and didnt know and I uninstalled the game

It's a little bit luck based. If fervor is kinda low for Cathoilc, which it tends to be, it'll be easier. Also, owning an Ash'ari province will significantly cheapen it, so consider that. You can also marry an Ash'ari woman if any are in your court to lower it more.

I don't see how the perfect circle explanation works. If a woman is 16 when she has her son, she would be 32 when she had her son/grandson and 48 when she had her son/great grandson so could not produce any more children.

I just achieved the perfect circle! I played as the Duke of Mercia in England, 1066. I created a character with the beautiful trait, high intrigue and Zoroastrian religion. On starting the game, i changed my contract with my liege to religious exemption. Married a spouse, had some kids. Spent the reign converting vassals and counties to Z (to maintain peace) and educating heir in intrigue. On his accession, marry him to sister with beautiful trait. Get a hook on liege and change contract to no title revocation. Then rinse and repeat until acievement reached - each generation changed the contract further in my favour with hook. Takes 5 generations in total. Succeeded on first run without any incident at all.

The vid is 3months old now, anyone knows if saga in stone is still doable? I hear paradox fixed some exploit involved with this achievement.

I just did it. No greedy trait (too much stress from giving titles), Chaste instead for fast piety. Court amenities to zero and dismiss all MAAs after conquest. Also, no marriages, or choose only infertile / zero age kids. The son rolled ambitious trait which was giving him stress for every give title action, but lashing out and secluding helped. I collected 6000 gold to start abdicating, as for high stewardship character the stone was still 60 gold even with one low control county.
